The King and his advisors were appalled, they had assembled all the nobles together to shame their former princess and her supposed lover Julius however all their attempts to provoke the pair had failed, and even worse still their greatest warrior had collapsed in full view of the nobility without a single action having been taken against him.
Though it was believed Julius or Yurasia had done something, neither had made any move except ones to leave the room.
While the king continued to tremble on top of his throne, he could only watch as his sister, and the man he hated more than any other left the room, unable to prevent them from doing so without causing an international incident.

"Well that went pretty much exactly as we thought it would?" <Julius >
"I'd say it was worse than that actually." <Yuri >
Yuri's mood had fallen to it's lowest since her nation was on the verge of defeat at the hands of Bridget.
Now having to leave her ancestral home, due to the actions of her brother.
She was not welcome in her own home.
That plus the fact that the Roserun staff in the palace had performed one final action against them when they left.
Their blades were returned but both Yuri and Julius could tell the blades within their scabbards were not the ones they had forfeited before entering the hall.
They'd been swapped out, however neither raised any objected simply opting to leave the palace instead.
Rossade was safe of course, as the pair had left the blade in a hidden location within the city while they'd walked the winding path through.
The blade taken by the King were just simple high quality iron blades, one that was mimicking Rossade and even painted to perfectly mimick it, while Julius's blade was a mimick of his Heavenly Demon Rain blade.
Surely the opponent this time would become over confident now that the powerful weapons had been secured.
And so, since the day was getting long, Julius and Yuri located a large inn near the palace to spend the night at.
"Welcome!" <Proprietress >
"We'll be requiring a room for a number of days, and and if water could be provided we've had a long journey." <Julius >
As the discussion began Yuri could not help but blush as a single room was asked for, it was planned out but all the same she couldn't help but have her heart race at the implication.
They had spent days on the road together and even a few sleeping out under the stars but now they'd be sharing a room... in private, this was a critical blow to the young princess's psyche.
"We'll be paying in Denar I hope that's ok?" <Julius >
Dropping the gold coins from his hand onto the counter top, the proprietress was startled but her face beamed, Latinium currency was not widespread in Roserun but it was highly valued, taking these coins to a money changer would net her a good number of Lunans, the currency actively used in the kingdom, as each Denar could be melted down and recast as dozens of other coinage.
The high purity of the denars was unheard of the the debased coinage presently circulating.
After receiving the instructions and key, Julius grabbed the hand of the still mentally withdrawn Yuri and lead her up to their room.
Inserting the key and unlocking the door with a simple klunk.
The door opened and the pair crossed the threshold into their private room.
After resting in the provided wooden chair after dropping their baggage and resting the new swords provided by roserun against the wall, the door was knocked, and after opening the door a pair of ladies carrying basins of hot water and towels entered, placing them in the room and leaving.
Julius ushered for Yurasia to take two of the basins while he turned his back on he taking his own basin to the corner of the room.
only going as far as to remove his upper bodies clothing and performing a simple rinse of his body before thoroughly washing the dirt and dust from his silver hair, the lustrous shine returning it from appearing to almost instead be grey.
Once finished he slid the basin away while he remained seated facing the walled corner, cross legged.
Julius entered sage mode, doing his best to block out all sound within the room, as his closed eyes began to run through his system.
The war has been over for a while if the rewards were going to increase at all they would be at their peak now.

[Rewarded One Silver Chest and Two Bronze chests]
It had finally come perhaps only because they were finally a nation or because he'd hit a certain level cap that unlocked the feature but now that Chest rewards were unlocked the gods of fate and chaos were going to be charging forward full steam.
Chests were rewards ranging from wooden chests all the way up to platinum ones, and the contents were generally points, nation points, weapons and armour, and most prized of all were national relics.
The Ancient empire had the technology to create treasures and relics to boost one's ability however current methods didn't match up, but with each successful conquest Julius could obtain treasures not only from raiding the opponent's treasury but also by unlocking these gifted chests and being granted new ones from the system itself.
However there was one problem now, if he were to pull out a chest and open it, how would Yuri perceive it?
Would it be like when he used the build or tech points where things just happened and no one reacted for if it was known, his position would be at risk until he could secure 100 loyalty from any her showed the ability to.
And so as great as it was the three chest remained flashing in the corner of his vision, to be obtained once Yuri had gone to sleep while Julius still locked in sage mode, began to think up an excuse for where the contents would have come from.

Behind his back Yuri meanwhile kept glancing over at Julius not to make sure he wasn't peeking but in constant wonder as to why he wasn't.
Was she not attractive?
Here she was basically naked along in a room with him as defenceless as she could probably be and yet he sat like a rock not making any moves at all.
His majesty is certainly a hard foe to defeat after all.
