The entire island was under lockdown, the biggest advantage being that they could move freely without being observed. Cynthia looked out at the azure sea, her playful mood striking as she removed her high heels, holding up the front of her cheongsam, and stepped into the water.
The cool sea water and fine sand wrapped around her feet, the complex sensations sending ripples through her heart.
"Do you like it here?" Tristan's voice came from behind.
Cynthia turned around and immediately spotted Tristan standing on the shore, his figure silhouetted against the light. His tall and broad frame towered over her, shielding her from the blinding, brilliant sunlight.
