Elena rectifies her mistake

Nyx's eyes watered when she went back through all that had happened to her. She blinked her eyes, trying so hard not to let her tears fall down her cheeks.

She sniffed and wiped her face, "Please, just let me go," her voice was cracked.

Elena felt so guilty seeing her that way, she went to her and held her shoulders, "I understand, and I am so sorry, I am the reason for that had happened to you," she bent her head feeling so ashamed of herself, "You deserve so much more and I promise to do whatever I can to make you happy."

Nyx looked somewhere else not knowing the best way to respond, she just sighed.

Elena held her face and made her face her, "Look at me please."

Nyx looked at her but didn't look at her in the eye, she just couldn't.

"What exactly do you want me to do? I will do so, I promise," she spoke softly.

Nyx, raised her brows, "Anything?"
