"Nyx? Where you talking to yourself?" He arched his brow.
She shook her head, "No, no, why would I want to talk to myself?"
"I am pretty sure I heard you talking to something."
"I was..." She looked at the wall which the child had passed through, "Talking to myself." She said sadly.
Oberon observed her, "You looked like you did not have any sleep at all during the night." He said suspiciously.
She sighed, "No." She walked back to her bed and crawled on it.
Oberon was a bit thrown off balance by her answer but he said nothing. He watched her enter her bed.
Nyx closed her eyes, she waited until she was sure he had left the room. When she heard the door close, she gave a sigh of relief.
That child had given her a ray of hope, but also made her worried. This had been going on for weeks now, first it was the strange werewolf and now a baby. Did they really want her to just leave Oberon? Where would she even go?
She closed her eyes and fell asleep.

"My lady, I hope you're fine now." Gladys brushed her hair.
Nyx eyes darted, she yawned tiredly, "I do not know, I am feeling very weak." She yawned again.
"Probably you're stressed out." Gladys said.
"Or you could be pregnant." Yvonne chipped in.
Her heart skipped a beat and she turned to look at Yvonne, "Pregnant? Do you think so?"
"I doubt so my lady." Gladys said.
"Why? Can she not be pregnant too?" Yvonne asked her.
"That is not what I am trying to imply, do you not think it is a bit too early?"
"Early for what?"
They had already began to argue over it.
"It is okay, there is no need for an argument. Who knows, I could be just stressed out, especially after what happened these few weeks." She sighed.
"But keep it in mind my lady, you could be also pregnant. That is what I think." She shrugged.
Gladys rolled her eyes, "Do not give her false hopes, if she is pregnant, wait until it starts giving us signs."
"We could as well pay attention to every little detail, we can not just expect it to be written on her forehead saying she is pregnant." Yvonne drawled.
Gladys was about to reply when Nyx stopped her, "It's okay Gladys, you might be right, Yvonne might be right. There's no need to argue over it." She smiled.
"No my lady, it is important we take note of every little thing, what if you are pregnant and we are just overlooking it?" Yvonne drawled.
"No need to worry Yvonne, as far as I know, I am very okay."
Gladys held her head and shook it, "My lady, if you are pregnant, we will wait and see, the signs will surely come out." She said calmly.
Nyx nodded, "Okay, if that's the case, then let it be." She shrugged.
The cool came in, "My lady, breakfast is served." She bowed.
Nyx looked at her, "Uh... I do not feel like having breakfast at the table, I would prefer eating it here." She replied.
The cook bowed, "Yes, my lady, I will bring it to your room then." She said and left.
The cook came back holding a tray of dishes.
Gladys took it from her and brought it to her bedside table, "You should come have breakfast my lady."
Nyx stared at the dishes, they smelled and looked delicious but there was this knot in her stomach and she felt nauseous all of a sudden.
"I do not feel like having breakfast, I want water." She said .
Yvonne arched her brow.
Gladys creased her forehead, "What do you mean my lady?"
"I want just water, I do not feel like having food."
Yvonne fetched her a glass of water and handed it to her.
"Here you go my lady."
Gladys walked towards her, "You should please have something my lady, it is not nice if you miss breakfast."
"I do not think she is in the right state to eat all those, I will go get her some cereals."
"Cereals? Why would she want those?"
"It is already obvious Gladys, you should really pay attention to somethings." She said and walked out of the room.
"What is the matter with you my lady, is anything wrong with you?"
"I am fine, I just feel nauseous sometimes." She held her head.
"Nauseous?"
She nodded.
"That is new." She muttered.
Yvonne soon came back with cereal mixed with milk.
"You should be able to take this down."
Nyx took it from her and began to eat slowly.
Gladys was surprised, "She is eating this."
"This would not nauseate her." Yvonne replied.
Gladys folded her arms and watched her eat.
"I am done, I can not take in any more." She pushed the bowl away from her gently.
"Have some water." Yvonne offered her a glass of water.
She drank it and sighed.
"I do not feel right, I want to lay my head." She yawned.
She stood up and walked to her bed, her head spun and her pupils were rolling in. Everywhere seemed to disappear from her sight, and her head began to throb.
She staggered backwards.
"My lady?" They rushed towards her but she had reached the ground before they came and everywhere went blank.
...
"What happened to her?" Elena asked looking very worried.
The doctor checked her pulse and nodded, he went on with his stuff.
Elena was very worried, "Tell me doctor, what's wrong with her?"
"I can not say yet your highness, I have to check her properly first. Please be patient." He said calmly.
She nodded, she silently prayed that nothing bad had happened to Nyx, she paced forth and back the room while the doctor checked up on Nyx.
"Your Majesty." He called.
She rushed towards him, "Yes?"
"It is good news though, no need to be worried about anything."
Elena calmed down a bit, "Oh, okay. Then what is the matter?"
"She is pregnant."
