Characters: Ruth, Alex and Wisdom

(Ruth gets home and meet an angry husband in the evening)

Ruth: Good evening honey.

Alex: What is good about this evening? Save your useless greetings to yourself. Where are you coming from at this time of the night? A married woman!!!!! (Alex angrily asked his wife Ruth)

Ruth: eeeerm.... eeeeeeeh... I..... I...

Alex: So u are now a stammerer?

Ruth: Honey please I can....

Alex: What!!!!!!!! (Alex exclaims angrily)

Ruth: I'm sorry. My childhood friend had some challenges with her fiance and she had to confide in me.

Alex: Really!!! Like seriously. So let me ask u, between our son Wisdom and your so-called friend who has relationship issues which of them is your priority? Are u serious at all? You left your son at the school all alone and followed your friend. In fact this is a height of total irresponsibility.

Ruth: Babe I'm very sorry. It won't happen again. Please.

Alex: You are sorry, hahahaha tell that to the dogs. (He angrily speaks to Ruth)

Ruth: I'm sorry please forgive me. It won't happen again.

Alex: Of course it won't happen again!!!! Excuse me. (Alex angrily bangs the door and left the sitting room, went into the bedroom)

(Wisdom comes out of the room and asked his mom why she failed to pick him up from school as she does always)

Ruth: My boy I'm so sorry I could not pick u from the school today. I had to attend to an emergency.

Wisdom: I'm very angry at u mom. You left me all alone at the school. Why didn't u call the office to tell them u can't pick me up? At least dad would have picked me earlier.

Ruth: I'm sorry honey please forgive me it won't happen again.

Wisdom: It's alright mom I've forgiven you.

Ruth: That's my boy. (Mom happily smiles at Wisdom)

Wisdom: That's my mom. Mo....m ple....ase I'm famished. (He touches his tummy showing he's hungry)

Ruth: Okay big man let me rush to the kitchen and dish something for you. (Mom quickly rushed to the kitchen to prepare some food)

Wisdom: I've heard you mom. I'll be indoors.

(Dinner is served after 30minutes)

Ruth: Dinner is served. (Wisdom runs out of the room to the dining hall) Let me call daddy. Honey please dinner is served, we are waiting.

Alex: I'm not hungry.

Ruth: Please for how long are u going to hold onto this? Please join us on the table. Wisdom is waiting.

Alex: Which part of the statement do u find difficult to understand? Can't u get it, I said I'm not hungry get that into your sick head.

Ruth: I'm sorry.

Alex: So u expect me to eat at this time of the night so I can develop a potted belly. You are not serious.

Ruth: I said I'm sorry.

Alex: Get out of my sight

(Ruth closes the door gently and walks slowly to the dining)

Wisdom: Mom where is dad, is he not joining us?

Ruth: Eeeeerm my dear daddy has a lot of work to do at the office tomorrow so he's already asleep.

Wisdom: Really!!! and he couldn't even say any good night message to me. Are u sure my dad is fine. (Wisdom frowns as he asked his mother)

Ruth: Don't worry little angel daddy is perfectly fine. Enjoy your meal.

(Wisdom begins to dine with his mom)

Wisdom: Wow!!!! My mom is the best cook in the world. (Wisdom and his mom both laughed) The food is too delicious.

Mom: Let me escort u to bed. (Mom takes Wisdom to the bedroom and put him to sleep)
