A Ticking Time Bomb

A small smile crept onto Sebastian's face as he realized that if those two fuckers were still alive, could only mean one thing: Rebecca was still alive as well. 

This brought with it a sense of relief that seemed to lighten the heavy burden he had been carrying. 

<Time must have passed differently within the Venquilar.>

This phenomenon meant that, despite the months that had passed in that alternate reality, not much time must have slipped away in the real world. 

<It might have even been frozen.> 

This was a comforting thought, since it meant they still had around two weeks available to find a solution to their predicament.

Sebastian headed towards the room where he had last seen Rebecca. He peered inside and was greeted by the sight of Rebecca sitting alone on a simple cot, her brows furrowed in deep thought.

Sebastian felt a huge sense of relief when he saw her. 

<She's all good, no harm done, and very much alive.>
