Meeting konoha princess

In the Land of Rain, surrounded by mountains and fields, the incessant rain poured from the sky as if the land itself were weeping.

Kirito, wearing a black raincoat, traversed the muddy mountain roads.

At this time, he inhabited the zetsu's avatar, assuming the identity of an Ame-nin, who had been reduced to a rogue.

The primary purpose of his visit to the Land of Rain was to assess the state of this war-ravaged country and to meet the current possessor of the Reincarnation Eyes.

It had been over a month since the war's conclusion, yet the country showed no signs of recovery.

During his journey, Kirito encountered deserted farmlands, severely damaged villages, and displaced civilians. The entire Land of Rain had been decimated by the war, with only the capital city, protected by Amegakure, remaining relatively unscathed.

Kirito reached a village where some residents still lived.

Similar to the villages he had seen along the way, this one was severely damaged, with numerous houses in ruins and only a small portion of crops surviving.

Due to his guise as Ame-nin, Kirito was not met with hostility from the ragged villagers but was far from being welcomed. He could see fear and suspicion in their eyes.

"Leave our village immediately. You're not welcome here!"

Suddenly, an angry teenager burst out of a dilapidated house, shouting at Kirito and even hurling stones in his direction.

"I apologize, esteemed ninja. Please forgive him; his parents were killed by bandits yesterday, and he's still ignorant. Please pardon him."

As the boy berated Kirito, a grey-haired elderly man hurried over from a nearby house. He forcefully pushed the boy's head into the muddy ground, making him kneel, and then knelt down himself. The elderly man begged Kirito with folded hands, pleading for forgiveness.

Upon hearing the elderly man's explanation, Kirito quickly grasped the reason behind the boy's anger towards him. It was likely that the so-called "bandit" who had caused havoc in the village was amenin, specifically the renegade from the rain Village.

Faced with Konoha's formidable strength, not all rain shinobi chose to confront them boldly. Most of them were overwhelmed with despair and fear upon witnessing Konoha's power. Consequently, they opted to flee, becoming shameful deserters and leading ignoble lives.

These deserters could never return to The rain Village, as they were automatically deemed rebels. To survive after losing their normal sources of support, they had no choice but to resort to banditry, which further tarnished their reputation.

Villages without a guardian power like Ame were their preferred targets.

Unable to confront Konoha's ninja and incapable of defending their homeland, they were now causing harm to their own land, an ironic twist of fate.

"Fear not; I am different from those scoundrels. I won't take anything from your village."

Kirito sighed as he spoke. With that, he passed by the elderly man and the

young boy, both kneeling on the ground, and continued on his way, departing the village swiftly.

However, he soon realized he was surrounded.

Five Konoha ninjas appeared one after another, encircling him.

Utilizing his soul perception, Kirito had already sensed that he was being followed. These five individuals had been tailing him covertly since he left the village.

Unsurprisingly, they were the same Konoha ninjas who had lurked in the village earlier.

Five Chunin.

Here is the corrected text:

"This guy is very strong, let's go all out, and I will restrain him."

The pineapple-headed ninja among the five watched Kirito Muji release two kinds of Water Release ninjutsu. He immediately realized that they had encountered a formidable foe this time.

Shadow Imitation!

The shadow beneath him extended swiftly, pointing directly towards Kirito's shadow.

Simultaneously, Kirito began performing ninjutsu again, and this time he successfully formed a hand seal, albeit only five seals, before executing a Water Release ninjutsu that typically required more seals.

Water Release: Water Dragon Bullet Technique!

A colossal water dragon instantly formed from the nearby water reservoir, surging aggressively towards the pineapple-headed Chunin.

The pineapple-headed Chunin had no choice but to cancel the Shadow Imitation to evade. However, avoiding the Water Dragon's attack was no easy feat, and he ended up being bitten by the water dragon, drenched by a high-pressure stream of water, and carried away.

The remaining four Konoha ninjas tried to come to his aid, but Kirito's four water bodies intercepted them.

One of the Chunin, skilled in swordsmanship, managed to defeat Kirito's water clone but soon discovered that the pineapple-headed Chunin had spewed blood and fallen, unable to continue the battle. He immediately rushed towards Kirito with a chakra-enhanced ninja blade.

However, the moment he successfully struck Kirito with the ninja blade, Kirito in front of him transformed into a stream of water.

It was a water clone.

The Chunin with the blade suddenly realized he had been deceived and attempted to retreat, but it was too late. The water flow, formed by the water clone, enveloped him tightly.

A massive water sphere immediately entrapped the swordsman.

Water Release: Water Prison Technique!

"Stop! Your comrade is in my custody now. Cease if you don't want any harm to befall him."

Kirito emerged from the ground behind the sword-wielding ninja, thrusting his arm into the water sphere while maintaining the Water Prison Technique as He addressed the remaining three Konoha ninjas, who had now subdued his water clone."

"Despicable and shameless."

"Release him."

"Damn Urenin."

The three Konoha Chunin shouted angrily upon witnessing their comrade being ensnared by Kirito.

However, they still took their comrade's life into consideration and refrained from further attacks.

Upon hearing their words, Kirito was left momentarily speechless. Who was being despicable and shameless here? It was the five of them who initially besieged him, not the other way around. They were the ones acting shamelessly and unscrupulously.

"Are you Konoha ninjas so arrogant and ill-mannered? I had no intention of fighting you in the first place; it was you who initiated hostilities. Now that your comrade is in my custody, do you still have the audacity to label me as despicable?"

Kirito sneered.

"Silence! Release him immediately, or you'll regret it."

"Indeed, you despicable Rain ninjas have deceived Hokage-sama with underhanded methods, but we'll never accept this disgraceful form of surrender. Kill us if you can, and our comrades will avenge us. They'll surely raze your Rain Village to the ground."

"Do it if you dare; pardon me for doubting, but Ame-nin like you lack the courage, or you wouldn't have surrendered using such underhanded tactics."

Kirito's taunts incited the three militant Konoha ninjas to erupt in anger. They were infuriated, as if Kirito had personally harmed their entire families, their anger overwhelming any semblance of rationality.

Kirito couldn't help but think that he now understood why the Uchiha clan was feared by others. Ordinary ninjas, their loved ones and friends killed, and their bonds severed, were driven to irrationality by hatred. The Uchiha clan, with their intense emotions, could easily be drawn into the abyss of hatred and darkness if their willpower wasn't strong enough.

On the battlefield, those Uchiha clan members who activated Sharingan or upgraded it to Mangekyou Sharingan would undoubtedly become even more radical than the militant Konoha ninjas before him.

It was no wonder that Konoha's high-ranking officials, like the Third Hokage, hesitated to deploy Uchiha clan members on the battlefield, even when they volunteered. They feared that their rapid growth and influence among the ninja ranks would be disruptive, and they were also concerned about the formidable power of the Mangekyou Sharingan.

Faced with this group of irrational ninjas, Kirito found himself at a loss for what to do.

He wasn't particularly skilled in diplomacy, and as a fake-Rain ninja, he couldn't engage in direct combat with these Konoha ninjas either.

As for escaping, he hadn't really considered it as an option when he got into this little predicament. After all, he had ambitions to establish himself as a formidable lone ninja in the Land of Rain.

Truth be told, even without using his sealing techniques, it would be quite easy for him to defeat these five Konoha Chunin who hadn't mastered any special ninjutsu. In fact, compared to his main body, white Zetsu's's avatar might even be more powerful.

The reason was simple: White zetsu's avatar possessed a significantly higher chakra capacity than his main body. With a current chakra level equivalent to a Jounin, coupled with daily training, his chakra volume continued to increase. Moreover, his chakra recovery rate was remarkably fast.

Just moments ago, the chakra he had expended using ninjutsu had already fully replenished itself.

Through his research on the white zetsu, Kirito had discovered that this was closely related to zetsu's divine tree cells.

Strictly speaking, White zetsu was a plant organism capable of sustaining itself through photosynthesis, eliminating the need for food, water, or rest.

This creature is a dream come true for capitalists, capable of absorbing natural energy from the environment and converting it into chakra.

Thanks to the gedo mazo cells mixed with some hashirama cell in its body, the zetsu avatar effortlessly mastered three chakra properties: water, earth, and yang release, allowing it to use a variety of ninjutsu, not inferior to the his body, and even getting stronger day by day.

Concerning the Wood Release chakra, Kirito discovered that it's a blend of water, earth, and yang release, not just a combination of water and earth releases. The key to this lies in the shinju cells that transformed hashirama cell, that enable these three attributes to blend seamlessly and give rise to Wood Release chakra.

However, Kirito regretfully hasn't learned any Wood Release ninjutsu yet, as he lacks the necessary knowledge. He can only use Wood Release chakra to create basic plants.

As the situation with the Konoha ninjas unfolds, Kirito contemplates testing their sanity to determine if they've lost all reason. He brandishes a kunai, pointing it at the throat of the immobilized swordsman within the water prison, demanding their response.

"Stop!"

"What are you trying to do?"

Seeing their companion in danger, two of the Konoha Chunin immediately shout for a ceasefire, their attitude softening. However, the one-eyed Chunin remains resolute, hurling a kunai with an ignited detonating tag at Kirito while angrily exclaiming, "Go to hell, you damn Ame-nin!"

"Ibaraki, you're insane!"

"Don't do it!."

The other two Konoha Chunin, witnessing the one-eyed ninja's reckless actions, react with shock and disapproval.

"Hopeless fool," Kirito mutters under his breath. He proceeds to manipulate his chakra with impeccable control, releasing the Water Wall jutsu. This creates a water barrier to intercept the incoming kunai and detonating tag, obscured by the water vapor for added protection.

Kirito leaves a water clone behind to maintain the Water Prison jutsu while the zetsu's clone, utilizing the Mayfly jutsu, lies in wait beneath the surface, ready to eliminate the one-eyed ninja, who is consumed by hatred and disregards the safety of his comrades. Such an individual would likely become a puppet under Danzo's control if allowed to return to Konoha. It is better for him to die as a hero on the battlefield of the Land of Rain.

However, as Kirito prepares to deliver a fatal blow with his kunai, he senses something amiss and quickly withdraws. A moment later, a barrage of kunai whizzes through the spot where Kirito had stood, followed by a powerful explosion that creates a massive pit in the ground.

Kirito, feeling the tremendous force, exclaims, "What incredible power!"

His attention then turns to a beautiful female ninja rapidly approaching them. With long blonde hair and two distinctive ponytails, her honey piercing eyes make it clear who she is: Konoha's Princess and one of the Legendary Sannin, Tsunade Senju.
