Unexpected Guests

Duan Yixin sat on the straw bed for a long time and didn't leave her bedroom until the first sunlight emerged from the eastern horizon. After taking a quick shower, Duan Yixin went to the kitchen to make breakfast and her daily medicine. 

Twenty minutes later, Duan Yixin came out with the bamboo tray after she had drunk her medicine. She had just put the bamboo tray on the wooden table in the living room when she heard the sound of wheels approaching her home. She was a little curious, so she went out to see who was coming this early in the morning.

As soon as she walked out of her house, Duan Yixin saw a horse carriage parked in front of her house. Judging from the appearance of the horse carriage, the owner must be wealthy. Seeing the coachman put the small ladder next to the carriage, Duan Yixin stood in front of her house, waiting for the people in the carriage to come out.
