Ignore My Past, Ignore Me (1/2) || Ember

I crossed my arms and leaned against the wall beside Reyin's room. Waiting. I hadn't spotted him in the courtyards where he usually roamed around this morning hour, nor had he been anywhere I'd looked around the castle. If he wasn't in his room, I would reluctantly start my search from the beginning.

What he did and where he went wasn't any of my business, and I found myself repeatedly trying to convince myself that I didn't actually care where he was.
