Cleaning the unclean

As Ari expected, the nurses and the staff did not have many complaints when they saw Ari pick up a dirty rag and clean the grimy walls. In fact, after watching her clean the members of the cleaning staff, couldn't help but say,

"Miss Harlow, leave this matter to us," said a woman whose hair was neatly covered with a white cap. She was wearing a pastel green uniform.

She smiled at Ari and the many wrinkles on her face scrunched up, "We can do this alone."

The woman was afraid that if someone saw Ari cleaning the room, they would have some opinion about their staff members.

Ari's hands that were rubbing the wall paused. She turned to look at the elderly woman with a smile in her eyes. She turned her body to the side very subtly and said, "I know, but if we do this together, then the ward will be cleaned sooner."
