The next morning Lu Han woke up and stretched his body after entering the space and cleaning up, he came out with his bag. A stupefied expression etched on his face looking at the other side where the central city people were sleeping.

The clothing shop is now abandoned and covered in green gas. The plant is projecting a very angery vibe in the air and as a plant type supernatural power user it is easy for him to feel it.

He went towards his jeep and found it's tyres punctured with a sharp object. It seems someone doesn't want him to leave. He went to nock on the door of their current residence and as soon as they opened the door, he broke a pill and threw it inside in a stealthy manner. The soldier guarding didn't give him a good attitude and just closed the door after seeing it is the annoying little scholar from yesterday.

"Huh....no wonder they were almost annihilated by a single level 7 plant, cucucu.." With fluid movements he changed the tires and drove off.

A few hours after he left the people left behind began feeling nauseous. It hit them like a wave and left no one in the group of tens of people.

A group of people came out of hiding ready to ambush the driver of the jeep but only saw dust rising in the air while none of the traps were triggered.

"Did he just disappear into the sky?" A small boy said pointing up in the sky making the others look up while some sneered at him.

Up in the sky it was previously white because of the snow but now there is a line as big as a car gradually getting closed up by the snow. When those with cynic thoughts looked up, the line is already closed.

They have no food and no way to improve their situation which is why they have decided to steal from those bold enough to leave the base at this time. But there have been no food in the past three days.

Initially they had left the base because of the high mortality rate there. One minute you are sleeping, the next minute someone is slitting your throat for a single biscuit. It is really scary living inside the base.

When Amelia got to the gate of the base her car had already changed to a jeep and her appearance changed into Amelia. Not only did she restraine her subconscious mental and spiritual force that will intimidate people and also make her seem unfathomable, she even made her eyes dim a little.

The woman nodded profusely hearing this. Amelia gave a stiff smile and ran out of there as if her ass is on fire. She wanted to scream in anger. 'What the hell is going on? Mingxi is here then that scheming, duplicitous man might also be here. Most importantly what kind of reaction was that? Shouldn't she be more calm at this age?'

Amelia is in a bad mood but she went to the Liang residence after asking around and paying a few biscuits for the information. The place is in a good location, further away from the busy streets and seems easier to defend.

"What can I help you with?" A soldier wearing padded winter jacket and warm thick pants askes her. His breath turning into white fog as soon as it leaves his mouth.

"Hi, I am here for the old man. I heard he is sick?" Amelia asked with concern. The guard became alert. The news of the old master's illness hasn't been made public yet.

"Who are you?" The soldier asked while assessing if she is a threat. Amelia is wearing the slight waterproof combat boots, long winter pants and a black jacket with light blue fur. It brings out her blue eyes. She is carrying a travel bag that should be heavy for young girls but at least she seems thick and has a sturdy body with curves in the right places. She really has a hot figure now, it's just that she is always indoors or wearing loose clothes.

But she is wearing pants now, it's just that measuring her exact size will be difficult with the winter clothes. She has a cute hat with long sides to hide the ears. "You are indeed an exhausting woman. Your future husband better be a dumb man or he'll be angered to death by you." Amelia hurriedly distanced herself from this cloud of sticky sweetness. She instead went to the dinning room finding most people seated there.

"Amelia, come and tell us how is our first sister from the third house? I'm Xing Xing." A girl with glasses said looking at Amelia with curiosity.

"When last did you see her?" Qingyue asked.

"6 months ago, their base was under attack and I happen to pass by so I lent the ga hand." Amelia said but someone aske quickly...

"Are you not living with uncle and them?"

"No."

"Why?"

"I had already moved out back then. Why would I go back now?" Amelia asked.

The room quieted down as they all looked at her incredulously. Even extended family would stick together during these dangerous times. But she doesn't want to stay with her own father?

"Then where do you live?"

"Jiangkang base."

"The hospital base that brother brought people to attack a while ago?" A magnetic voice sounded from the door.

"Thats the one." Amelia answered honestly. Although she doesn't know who this man is but since he called Liang Song brother, he is close to the Liang family.

"That's very far from B base." The same voice said. This time Amelia turned to see a beautiful man walking in wearing a soft looking jacket and loose long pants.

"So you ran away from home?" He asked.

"Why did you run away?" Xinxi cut through the two people's conversation.

"Everyone is happy there?" He asked with disdain. He obviously doesn't believe her.

"I don't know about happiness, but everyone is well fed and has shelter." She answered.

"What about old people and children?" This time it was the man that asked.

"What is your name?"

"My name is Wang Bai."

"How is your brother?" Amelia asked kindly. But the man's eyes narrowed.

"Do you know brother Wang Jin?" Liang Hau asked Amelia her eyes burning with excitement.

"I don't know him at all. I heard he was in the base a while back."

"Who is this?" He opened his thin lips and asked. A very handsome face with folden rimmed glasses that adds elegance to his obvious charm. Amelia took one look and knew in her heart this young man is not a good person.

"You must be Liang Fei, I heard you are a research scientist? How many innocent people have you killed in your experiments in that lab?" The man didn't seem to care for her accusations in the least. He just raised an eyebrow at her.

"You are covered in sinister ghost spirits. If you don't change your ways, bad luck will befall you second cousin." Amelia warned but she just wanted to ruffle his excessively calm demeanor.

She failed, the man juat looked at her briefly before looking towards Wang Bai as if to signal him to come forth.

"I came to cure your grandfather so please make time from your schedule today. Old madame Liang wants you to monitor me during the process." Amelia said to Liang Fei before he went out.

"Is he really experimenting on innocent people and killing them?" Liang Hau shuddered in fear.

"He is still your brother." Amelia said wanting to play along with the sweet flower as she seems too excited to finally have something wrong with her half brother.

"But....he kills people." Liang Hau stiffens her body and gave an expression like she is being strong and won't let her tears fall. She seems vey disappointed in her second brother.

"He is probably trying to make a vaccine or a cure for the zombie virus. Would you rather he stops?" Amelia asked her. If she says yes she will be heartless to want the world to remain in chaos, but if she says no, the innocent people will continue being experimented on.

Realizing this, the girl gave Amelia a teary expression. "Cousin, you must know a way. You saw through the truth with a single glance just now." She just tossed the problem back to Amelia.

"I don't care what happens to innocent people or if the zombie virus is cured or not. I am very heartless. But you are not like me right? You are pure and innocent, surely your opinion will be the right one." Amelia said with a gentle smile to Liang Hau.

"Who moved in the guest room in the house? Wang Bai is our family's guest where am I supposed to let him sleep?" Liang Fei said with visible annoyance.

Amelia had already changed the bed sheets and put her clothes on the wardrobe. She was originally satisfied with the room since it has a privated bathroom.

"Second brother, cousin Amelia had come first and mother asked her to stay in the guest room at that time. But ...brother Wang Bai is a guest and we can't let him suffer." Liang Hau spoke with heartache but her words were sawing discord.

The woman staggered after hearing her words. It is true, whenever she gets angry and shouts, her disease would attack her in full force. But how did a mere bastard child know all this?

"I recommend you keep silent and meditate whenever you are angered these days. Or you can take your medicine like you used to." Amelia said.

"If she could take her medication would she still need you to remind her?" A cold voice came from the side. Amelia saw the old madame at a glance.

"Are you moving out or not?" Liang Fei asked Amelia.

"Liang Qingyue, can you show me where you sleep?" Amelia stood up and went to take out the sheets. She bumped into Wang Bai on the way. He gave her a cold glance.

"I see that you also have spirit supernatural power. Don't overestimate yourself just like your brother, your family shouldn't have so many cripples." Amelia said with her back facing him and Liang Qingyue following closely behind.
