~~~Third Person, Fifth Moon, 277 AC~~~
~~~Hidden Sea, Essos~~~
The mostly clear and sunny sky had been waning in color since the bloodshed and struggle for control between two factions began, at this time, the beginning of the fight is no longer known at first, now it is only known that one attacks and the other responds, in a ceaseless struggle that seems to have no end.
The Winged Men, creatures similar to humans, but with pointed tails, claws instead of feet, and membranous wings that allowed them to fly, were taking the upper hand in the conflict, due to their unsuspecting air attacks, which together with their shadow-summoning and the support of the legendary leader of the age of heroes, was causing the Carcosa forces under Menrico's command, who were already losing, to begin to retreat more and more.
This caused the Winged Men to start expanding further west, increasingly brushing against the Five Forts and the Dawn Mountains, which sooner or later would also cause Yi Ti to join the conflict, which thanks to the death of General Pol Qo, could feel safe to go to war again.
However, Azrael no longer cared about this, since now that he was here, such a conflict would stop once and for all. Especially since he would not wait for the conflict to escalate further and reach the border of the Bone Mountains.
As for the city of the Winged Men, another plan of attack on Carcosa was being prepared there, since the leader, a tall, muscular man with a decrepit face, that being was far from resembling the legendary hero of the First Men of the Valley during the Age of Heroes.
Gone was his pristine beauty, his kind and helpful aura, his noble aura. Now, he was more of a walking corpse, with parts of his body falling off, and his beautiful wings, which had been the most beautiful sight, were now slimy, foul-smelling membranes, full of cuts, rashes, and mucous. The Winged Knight of the Valley was no more, instead, a monster corrupted by putrefying magic took his place.
The leader of the Winged Men, sensing the presence of Endoxes and also of the 'focus' of the revitalized magic, began to organize an attack in haste, which would give way to obtaining a dragon for his army and at the same time have for himself the source of the revival of magic.
Whether it was under the effects of the various victories he had obtained, or the power he had under control, his war strategy consisted of attacking with everything in the shortest possible time, without measuring consequences or using contingency plans in case things did not go well.
Instead, hours after the sun began to set, The Winged Knight was in a tower of the many that made up the city of the Winged Men, with his decaying body and slimy green eyes, he wore plate armor, which seemed well-made at first glance. And he carried a black halberd.
The Winged Knight looked down, watching the hundreds of thousands of Winged Men under his command, as their cadaverous eagles flew over the city, darkening the sky a bit.
"REEEAGH!" A grotesque scream came from his rotting mouth, being answered by the hundreds of thousands of screams of the Winged Men, who screamed into the sky and took flight, united like a swarm of bats, joining in the sky with the eagles.
The Winged Knight... Or what was left of him, swooped down from the tower towards the ground, with the slab floor coming closer and closer. And being twenty meters high, he opened his membranous wings and took flight, rising and beginning to fly over the Hidden Sea, in the direction of Carcosa, to end the war with the city and obtain the rewards hidden therein.
His army followed close behind him, shouting and whistling, their blood boiling in anticipation of battle, the defeat of their enemies, and victory on the horizon.
However, the sky did not seem to forebode his victory, as the clouds suddenly turned gray, with faint lightning peeking through and the wind beginning to blow hard. To the Winged Knight, this seemed strange, as he clenched his hand on his halberd tighter.
However, he didn't pay enough attention to the weather and continued without worrying, picking up more speed as he saw Carcosa already looming on the periphery. But he should have been more cautious, instead, he acted recklessly and fell victim to it.
Suddenly, among the gray clouds and blue lightning, a dark column came out at full speed, occasionally shedding purple specks. The Winged Knight noticed this and immediately acted, stopped his advance, and turned around, hurling his halberd with all his might at whatever was approaching.
The halberd was thrown with enormous force, shortening the distance in a matter of seconds and reaching the dark column that continued to advance, without caring about the weapon that hovered over it. When the halberd reached the dark column falling from the sky, it pierced it without problems, but without stopping the advance of the dark column, only causing it to spread in all directions.
The Enderman, sent by Azrael upon noticing the advance of the Winged Men's city forces, took the enemy forces unawares, in a joint ambush from the sky, using the Winged Men's terrain against them.
The Enderman, with terrifying ferocity and effective momentum, spread out among all the Winged Men and Eagles, intent on slowing their advance and beginning to create casualties.
"GRRUAAK!" The Enderman roared with a bloodcurdling tone, crashing like a furious wave into everything in its path, slaughtering any Winged Men unlucky enough to come across its path. This started an aerial battle between the two sides, with limbs falling from the sky and crashing into the waters of the Hidden Sea, beginning to stain its waters more and more blood-red.
The Winged Men, despite having large claws and a pointed tail, were unable to harm the Enderman, since any attack they provoked only went through their cloudy bodies, while the Enderman had no such inconvenience, and with their skeletal arms and slender legs, they tore apart any being they came across.
If this kept up, it wouldn't be long before all the Winged Men were dead.
This didn't sit well with the Winged Knight, and flying over to where an Eagle was being torn to shreds, he grabbed the Enderman causing the Eagle's attack with his rotting arms, and this time, if you could see how something wasn't going through an Enderman like smoke or water, instead, the Winged Knight was able to grab the Enderman and fight side by side against it. Using his bare hands to kill the Enderman, who was unable to counter the attack from the Winged Knight's sword.
The Winged Knight smiled cruelly, and without wasting any time, lunged at the other Enderman he saw, causing an exchange of kills on both sides. However, The Winged Knight soon found himself outnumbered, as several Enderman surrounded him and attacked him at the same time, causing wounds to his body one after another.
"ROOOOOOOOOAAARG!"
Endoxes made his presence known at the moment, swooping down from the sky and releasing his breath on several eagles and Winged Men alike, leaving a line of death behind him.
The Winged Knight saw Endoxes, and a sadistic grin formed on his face, in an amazing display of skill and strength, he managed to break free from the continued onslaught of the Enderman that were harassing him, and taking the sword that had been hanging from his hip, he took flight towards Endoxes with his sword held high.
"BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!"
A massive explosion slammed head-on into The Winged Knight, sending him forcefully into the Hidden Sea, causing him to crash into the water and submerge, the explosion was so loud that it stopped the fight for a moment, giving time for everyone to manage to see what had happened.
Several meters away from where The Winged Knight had been before, a terrifying and creepy creature, had a cadaverous and fleshless body, with three large skulls attached to a single body, which consisted only of ribs and a kind of short bone tail.
The Wither, a terrifying creature and one of Minecraft's bosses, had made its appearance, bringing death and ashes to every enemy of its summoner.
