A Different Beast

Arit was supposed to be with the Air Force squad, but she wasn't going to be able to do much because of the coming storm, so for now, she was going to be waiting on the ship to see how the battle played out. If the storm calmed down, then Arit and the rest of the Air Force squad led by Mildred would be able to head out into battle to aid against the angels. But if it didn't, then Arit would focus more on making sure the ship wasn't taken over or destroyed by the angels.

Mark boarded the ship and looked out toward all of the demons already boarding their own ships. Once everyone was aboard, Mark put his hand forward and ordered them to drop the sails. The ships all dropped their sails, which were immediately caught in the harsh winds and the ships jerked forward toward battle.

The next few minutes were very interesting to Mark.
