Darvenno’s Plan

In the moment of life and death, Evan looked at Farcia with the hope that his voice would reach her ears. The things he saw were in slow motion as if time had slowed down. Inwardly, he prayed that his voice would reach Farcia who was consumed with rage. And the moment he saw Farcia stop moving and hold herself back from attacking, Evan let out a sigh of relief.

“Good thing she listened to me this time.”

Evan let out a long breath through his mouth as if the rocks on his shoulders had been removed. He was extremely worried that Farcia would be blinded by her rage and ignore his warning. Since he was a knight like Farcia, he knew that she was quite stubborn. For her to listen to his warning like this could be considered an incredible thing.
