Chapter 295 - Lost at Sea

Some passengers remained on the ship after others had been able to leave using the lifeboats before the lifeboats experienced a hydraulic leak.

Of the remaining passengers, there were about two thousand, exactly half of the four thousand total passengers on board.

Following the announcement of the ship's leak, the crew directed the passengers to gather at the designated evacuation point.

The captain also informed them that there was an uninhabited island not far from their location, which could serve as a resting place while they waited for help.

Though the island was close, it still required a two to three-hour swim using floatation devices, so the passengers were encouraged to work together cohesively.

Once all the passengers had gathered and were prepared, the captain and crew gave instructions for them to jump into the sea one at a time.
