Battle for the Shrine - Part 1

The following day, Caleb Li and his group left the restaurant.

Coming out onto the street, they found it overcrowded with people talking, their faces full of anticipation.

Some moved in groups, most of which were from the same race. Each leader had a proud smile and looked at others with a condescending gaze.

"Are they going for the battle?" Caleb Li asked in a whisper.

"Yes, Young Master," the Blue Serpent chief responded with a nod.

Huh!

Caleb Li, Lifen, and Dan sucked in a cold breath, not expecting such a large group.

"Are you scared?" Lifen looked at him and asked in a low voice.

"Scared?!" He looked at her and a mysterious smile appeared on his lips. "I'm not the one that should be scared, it should be them."

Hmm?!

Lifen creased her brow, unsure of what to make of what she just heard.
