SS1: I Was Five to Six Years Late, But...

The trip to the bamboo lake forest left a deep impression on Leslie, Calix and Calliope. The family of three enjoyed the remaining days after the spectacular night they spent on the yacht.

To Leslie's surprise, Calix told her that the entire family, including Irene, had already known about his proposal plan. He brought it up on their last night at the bamboo forest.

"They knew?"

Leslie arched her brows, staring at Calix's grinning face. She thought he hadn't told anyone in their family about his plan. She also hadn't done the same despite being excited about it.

"Yes, sweetheart," Calix chuckled as he leaned closer to Leslie, whispering above her lips, "Grandma is the most excited. She has seen the proposal videos and photos."

Before Leslie could ask anything further, Calix had already seized her lips. With Calliope sound asleep in the other room, their time together went without any disturbance.
