Ragnar Frostheart

"Damn, I'll copy these abilities," Rasoul exclaimed after thoroughly reading through the abilities of his subordinate, Rowan.

[Just 100,000,000 Fire Points will do.]

'Not this time, Madam System. I can use the empty scrolls.

[Damn]

After a swift interaction with the system, Rasoul turned to his three subordinates. "Rowan, why don't you and Sabrat go and train for the time being? I still have some work to do," he suggested before inquiring, "By the way, what kind of weapon do you desire?"

"A pair of daggers will do for now," Rowan replied.

Rasoul promptly acquired an epic-rank dagger from the system store and handed it to Him.

After receiving the daggers, Rowan immediately delved into the depths of the forest, with Sabrat following suit. Rasoul was aware that chaos would soon unfold in the quadrant where these two shadowy beings roamed, but he wasn't concerned because he knew they would handle themselves adeptly.

Upon activating the NecroSmith ability again, he was greeted with the same message.

Rasouk promptly extracts three formidable bodies and their corresponding cores from each beast. He secured one during the hunt for the ten guardians in the Tomb of the Deity of War. The remaining two were claimed upon their arrival in the forest three days ago.

Beasts: Blizzardclaw Yeti, Glacial Drakon, and Valkyric Mammoth. The Blizzardclaw Yeti is a Great Beast, whereas the other two are Alpha Beasts.

"He extracted a Great Sage Core, a prized possession he got from one of the 27 generals. It used to belong to a berserker named Jackson Frostvale. While he could have laid the cores to rest in their memory, Rasoul sensed they wouldn't have desired that fate. Instead, he harbored intentions of crafting formidable entities from each of the 27 cores."

He added the items into the forge, advancing to the next stage of the creation process.

He and Lara promptly distanced themselves, settling about 2 kilometers away. Caution was paramount; it's always wiser to err on the side of safety.

Orange Field City:

In Orange Field City, Princess Vina and Vira began strategizing their return to the capital. Following Sabrat's counsel, Vina resolved to assert her qualifications to the king, making it unequivocal that she was more than capable of assuming the role of the kingdom's next queen.

"So, we're really going through with this," the Princess remarked, her gaze fixed on the world beyond the window.

"Yes, indeed. It's crucial to demonstrate to the King that you're fully qualified for the throne. Plus, as the future queen, you'll have the opportunity to help even more orphans," Vira responded, revealing her forward-thinking mindset.

"Do you believe I'll make a good queen?" the Princess inquired, a hint of hesitation crossing her face.

"I don't just think so. I am certain you will be an extraordinary queen," Vira replied, her expression filled with pride.

"Absolutely," Vira affirmed, nodding in certainty.

"There's nothing to fear, Princess. I'll stand by you no matter what. We're in this together," Vira reassured her. Having been the Princess's maid since she was ten, Vira was privy to every detail about her. She could sense the Princess's hesitation about returning to the capital.

"With you by my side, I fear nothing. Let's finish this here quickly so we can depart tomorrow," the Princess declared upon hearing her friend.

"Alright," Vira replied.

BOOM!!! BOOM!!! BOOM!!!

After four hours of anticipation, a deafening explosion echoed through the formation. In an instant, a bone-chilling cold swept across the surroundings. Even at a distance of 2 km, Rasoul and Lara could sense the icy tendrils creeping over their skin, threatening to penetrate their bones. A dense aura swiftly followed, freezing everything within a 1 km radius of the formation.

Boom... Another explosion resonated, revealing a colossal 20-foot-tall beast now standing at the epicenter of the chaos. Its towering presence cast a formidable shadow over the entire area.

Its body is enveloped in a dense fur coat, displaying a mesmerizing blend of icy blue and snow-white hues. Massive, curved tusks extend from its jaws, and its eyes emit an otherworldly glacial glow. The creature's fur, thick and resilient to extreme cold, resembles a natural suit of armor, offering both insulation and formidable protection.

Formidable claws, as sharp as the biting winds, extend from its robust limbs. The creature's lengthy and supple tail culminates in a spiked, club-like appendage, capable of delivering devastating force. Runic patterns adorn its entire body, pulsating with cold, ethereal energy, amplifying its already imposing presence.

[Name your Subordinate]

"Ragnar Frostheart," declared Rasoul, naming his fourth subordinate.

The creature advanced a few steps, before transforming into its human form. Standing tall at an impressive 6 feet 5 inches, he possessed a commanding, muscular build.

His skin bore a subtle frosty tint, and his hair, a dazzling shade of radiant white, cascaded in thick waves down to his shoulders. This framed a chiseled face etched with both a handsome youth and a battle-hardened Viking.

His eyes, an intense ice blue, mirror the steadfast resolve and determination that characterize his warrior spirit. A braided beard, adorned with frost-kissed beads and runes, flows down his chest, enhancing his imposing presence.

"System, you're familiar with the routine already, but this time, throw in a weapon too," Rasoul directed the system, as armor seamlessly enveloped his subordinate's body.

The armor seems to be fashioned from the hide of mythical beasts and enchanted with ancient runes, enveloping its entire form. Its color is a mix of frosty blue and pure snow white.

A colossal weapon, reminiscent of the Frostforged Armaments of his class, hung gracefully on his back. Etched with intricate runes, the weapon emitted a subtle, otherworldly glow.

In mighty strides, the Viking reached Rasoul and Lara. He gazed down at them with a broad smile on his face. Despite his imposing presence, he shielded Rasoul and Lara from any hint of discomfort. Nevertheless, the chilling aura emanating from his body persisted, casting a palpable sense of cold around them.

"I am Ragnar Frostheart, the most powerful ice Viking at your service, Master, Milady," Ragnar declared, assuming a respectful Viking kneeling posture.

"No need to kneel or address me as Master. Just call me Rasoul or Cole, and this lovely lady is Lara," Rasoul, as usual, corrected him. This, of course, brought a wide smile to Ragnar's face.

"Welcome to the family, Ragnar. There are two more members, but currently, they're off hunting and honing their skills in the forest," Lara warmly conveyed.

"Should I join them? They might need my protection," Ragnar spoke with evident pride, reflecting his Viking nature.

Anticipating this, Rasoul decided to keep him occupied.

Rasoul produced a piece of paper, before speaking, "This map will guide you to a quadrant not far from here. Eliminate the Great Beast, secure the area, and bring back both its core and body. Feel free to train a bit beforehand, but ensure you deal with the beast before anything else." He then handed the map to Ragnar.

"Consider it done," Ragnar declared as he swiftly took the map and dashed into the forest.

"He's more lively than Rowan," Lara remarked after Ragnar had departed.

"Of course, he's lively. He's a Viking, after all. It's in their nature—they know how to have fun," Rasoul replied to her. He felt content with the subordinates he had assembled.

Turning to the system to check Ragnar's status, what he saw, however, nearly made him drop on his butt.
