Chapter 20 - A Series of Transformations (2)

The symbols on the pages surrounding Leo's body flickered to life, creating an ethereal glow that threatened to blind him. The patterns on these pages materialized into living symbols, each one pulsating with an otherworldly energy.

Then, in a surreal twist, these living symbols pierced into Leo's body, a sensation that transcended the physical, reaching into the depths of his very being.

Simultaneously, Leo's wives experienced a parallel transformation. The strange symbols not only surrounded them but began to embed themselves into their flesh, bones, blood, and spiritual energy.

The room crackled with an intensity that defied explanation as the pages and symbols wove a tapestry of magic, binding Leo and his wives to an enchantment that promised untold revelations and profound changes in their bodies.

Leo's wives were being bathed in the very pure essence of the symbols that had submerged in their body, disintegrating into every cell, tissue, blood bone and their very soul.

As soon as the symbols were disintegrated whole, a new batch would emerge from the pages that glowed and dimmed in a timely manner before floating towards the ten beauties and submerging in their bodies.

These pages that kept on producing symbols with their never exhausting energy had now started slowly revolving with every time a batch of symbols was released and greedily be absorbed by the beautiful bodies becoming more and more refined. 

With every passing second, the speed of the pages had increased while revolving around them. It was a minute later when the pages had become blur and the symbols were being continuously produced surrounding their bodies and quickly being absorbed occasionally.

After a few minutes, the glowing symbols stopped being produced when the pages surrounding their bodies stopped revolving around their bodies.

The pages slowly started approaching each other before they could be in contact with their edges. Right after the page edges came in contact with each other, they became a one whole new page.

The huge papers were shining gold with ink black engravings on them, and they engulfed the bodies whole before starting to shrink.

Ten beautiful bodies were now sealed like potato chips wrapped around by golden pages that were losing their golden shine at a visible rate as they were being absorbed from the inside.

The golden shine dimmed, and Leo's wives looked like stone statues left in a temple for a millennium.

Soon, the statues started cracking from all over their bodies. Small chunks of stone in the shape of their body started falling, that revealed a fair new skin that ran amok with tremendous power.

The stone chunks kept on falling off their body revealing their new appearances that far from enough to compare from earlier.

Their body were covered with an ancient aura and with their eyes still remaining closed that depicting they were in a deep meditation.

Leo's condition was much worse than his wives. 

When the symbols from hundreds of pages started submerging in his body, they didn't start to disintegrate immediately unlike his wives, instead the symbols started moving in his body roughly.

The symbols were moving in the opposite flow of his blood stream, which resulted in thousands of blood cells being destroyed. The rate at which new blood cells were being produced could not compare to the pace of them being in destruction.

He was barely hanging as this unforeseen destruction in his body kept on for a couple of minutes.

After enduring the pain that started to wear off slowly for only a few minutes that were no less than eternity.

Before he could take a breath of relief-

*Cough*

He coughed up a mouthful of blood with his eyes, ears, and nose bleeding in succession.

It was a hellish pain that he felt in a fraction of a second.

"…"

Leo tried to scream, but to his surprise he couldn't and noticed that the tiny pores all over his body were swelling crazily when a thought occurred in his mind, "I'm gonna die!?" 

With the thought concluding, another sound was heard.

*Crack*

Leo's eyes were already dyed red with his own blood, but he could feel the pain of his bones cracking all over his body.

Half a rib had pierced through his lungs, filling it with blood and making it more difficult for him to breathe.

[ERROR]

[ERROR]

[Unknown energy detected in master's body. Survival rate is below 7%.]

[Detected numerous bloodlines in master's internal system.]

[Bones are crushed down to thousands of fragments, Lungs punctured, excessive blood loss, hearing ability is compromised, Vision is compromised, Vocal cords have been destroyed - Speech compromised.]

[Emergency care needed.]

[Master should contact the nearby hospital to preserve his life.]

There was system's voice that echoed in Leo's soul.

"You F*cker! Son of a B*tch! How do I contact a hospital in this condition. I can't even speak! !@#$%" Leo started cursing in his soul at the system's 'kind' gesture.

The system's instructions were pure.

*Pooch*

Leo's both eyes exploded and caused a blood fountain to emerge from them. He was surprised too as to find out that he had survived to the level where exploded eyes also didn't kill him immediately.

"Ugh, I hope I could see them once again..." Leo's spoke inside his thoughts and felt a burning sensation in his already punctured body.
