Audition

Eve stepped on the set of "Romeo and Juliet" in fox's studio. Although she has been here many times before, but this was the first time she came for an audition. She entered the set of "Romeo and Juliet".

Many people who saw Eve were startled and stopped for another glance. She's too beautiful.

In the office of crew, a discussion was going on between Director Baz Luhrmann and his wife Catherine Martin.

Catherine looked at her husband whose state has been wrong since he came back from watching the musical two day ago. He announced directly that he was going to cast the new name Evelyn Thompson for the role of Juliet. She asked him repeatedly, are you mad. They wrote the whole script and worked for the initial production of the movie together, and now he wants to give the role to a newcomer without even any audition.

Baz Luhrmann calmed his wife down: "Don't worry dear. I am telling you, she will be perfect. I have seen her performing on Broadway, it was amazing. You can even ask Leo for the confirmation."

Catherine held her forehead and sat on the chair. She doesn't want to waste her time with this madman. He must have encountered his youth literary disease again.

Leonardo also nodded: "Yes, she looks good. I think she will be better for the Juliet."

He wanted to praise more, but looking at the murderous eyes of Catherine, he stopped. If he said anything more, then he might really die.

The assistant on the crew came to inform: "The candidate Evelyn Thompson is here for the audition."

Catherine replied: "Send her inside after changing to the audition costume." The girls who auditioned for the Juliet before all did it in a gown. They want to look if the image of lead actors match together.

The most important thing about "Romeo and Juliet" is the chemistry between its lead actors. After all, everyone knows the story. So the only thing which can be impactful is Director's skills, actor's acting and the most importantly, the match between Romeo and Juliet.

Eve was taken to the dressing room and was requested to select a gown to wear for audition. Looking at the so many gowns in front of her, she chose a simple one in her size.

The door of the audition room was opened and all three Catherine, Leonardo and Luhrmann looked at the door. There stood a girl in white gown. She has long wavy golden blond hair, ocean blue eyes and a smooth glowy white skin. Her facial features are exquisite, full of a deadly charm. She was rosy, shiny and was filled with feminine fullness. Although full of female charm, there were still many European characteristics like the curvature on her lips and little on nose. She has all the features which Americans dream of, plus the little European characteristics makes her not just a an American sweeheart but a alos a british rose, which is both charming and fatal.

Luhrmann looked excitedly at the girl. Although he saw her once before, but this is the first time he was seeing her this close. Catherine came out of trance before others and knocked her husband and Leonardo to come out too. But looking at the girl, Baz was right. The charm of this girl affects even her as an adult woman. She is really too beautiful.

She introduced herself first to reduce the awkwardness. "Hello, I am Catherine Martin, and this is my husband Baz Luhrmann."

Eve saw everything, but didn't point out. She has faced such situations before and has stopped being awkward about it. She greeted back with a smile: "Hi, I am Evelyn Thompson, you can call me Eve. I am here to audition for the role of Juliet."

"Thompson, do you have anything to do with Liam Thompson?"

Eve nodded: "Yes, he is my father."

Catherine understood now. Although this girl is an exceptional beauty even in a place like Hollywood which is full of handsome men and beautiful women. But getting the opportunity to audition for a lead role in the first audition is not a small thing. It can only be done either through strong connections or dirty deals. Having Liam Thompson as father means she is the first case. Liam Thompson is an executive of 20th Century fox and the head of distribution department of fox. He holds quite a good amount of the 20th Century Fox studio's shares, and is a man of strong connections in Hollywood.

To be honest, she feels a little jealous of this girl now. She has amazingly beautiful face, good acting talent and a strong father like Liam Thompson. This is simply a ticket straight to success. As long as this girl performs good in cinema and doesn't fall into bad habits like Drew Barrymore, she won't have to worry about resources or unfair dirty treatment.

The audition was started and it was just a simple look together of Eve with Leonardo. The matter was decided quickly and Eve was finalized for the role.

The problem came later, Eve's agent was not present. "I am sorry. My agent is on the way, he will be here soon."

Leonardo looked at Eve as if looking at something incredible. She really has the guts to not come with her agent. You must know that many studios would change actors on such simple matters. He just hopes this don't happen with her.

Catherine didn't say anything. She knows that the role belongs to the girl after seeing the look on her husband's face, even if identity of Evelyn is put aside for a moment.

Soon, Eve's agent arrived on the set. Looking at the agent, all three were again stunned. They really underestimated the girl too much. Can someone tell them since when did Kevin Huvane started taking newcomers.
