The instant Lucian stepped out of the car, the seven leaders of the family instantly bowed upon seeing him.

They didn't know what the issue was but it must be closely related to vampires. If it was a very bad situation that can put the pact between the humans, werewolves and humans on the line, then it was more severe than they thought.

Lucian was dressed in a royal robe with the family crest on it. It was all black with golden edges running through it. His eyes were red and a sword was fastened around his waist.

Vampires, although living in a modern era still lived by most of the rules ruling back from thousands of years ago and everyone knew about that.

The large double doors leading into the building were pulled open and without stopping, Lucian headed up to the top floor where the meeting was usually held if there was any reason for one, which there hasn't been.
