The moss and vines that clung to the exterior and interior of the cathedral began to retreat swiftly into the forest, which diminished in size until it vanished entirely.

In its place, an intricate layout of buildings and streets started to materialize.

While that was happening, the wear of centuries that were vivid on the cathedral's exterior seemed to be stripped off from reality itself, disappearing as well. The intricate carvings on the facade of the cathedral that had faded so much they seemed to be one with its stone walls the first time Valerius saw it were now as vivid as they must have been on the day they were completed.

Inside, the molded and broken pews thick with dust were nowhere to be seen. Instead, only brand new wooden benches could be seen. The stairs leading to the platform were restored, and where the shattered altar once stood, a statue now took its place.
