Being caught unprepared I dashed back as the door slammed open, a man staring at me face to face with bloodshot eyes, his gun already aimed at me.
"It's always the last ones that catch you off guard," I said while watching his finger press on the trigger in slow motion
"Just shut up and DIE!" The man shouted as the sound of the hammer slamming down and the primer going off reverberated inside the room, planning to dodge I tensed my legs however before I could move I felt my mind going numb for a split second. And that split second was enough for the bullet to reach my face already
[Finished analyzing NINE's sample, you have acquired the unique skill---]
The only thought running through my mind was 'Now is not the f*cking time'
before I lost consciousness... Or my life...

Jiro stared at Rimuru collapsing in a daze, she was snapped out of it by the sounds of the gun firing yet again. She quickly dashed behind the desk narrowly avoiding a bullet from hitting her.
Luckily the desk she hid behind was made of metal and thus managed to endure multiple shots. With her heart pounding out of her chest she waited for a perfect opportunity to strike back.

As soon as she heard the sounds of the gun not firing she dashed out of cover and grabbed whatever improvised weapon she had. A keyboard...
As the man tried to reload she lunged at him with surprising speed and swung the keyboard with all her strength hitting his jaw with so much force every single key on the keyboard dislodged into his face.
The pain of the strike caused him to drop his gun which just gave Jiro more time to hit him yet again, the second strike hit him in the side sending him to the floor.
However, the fire in Jiro's eyes wasn't extinguished just yet, a mix of pure rage and panic made her thoughts warp as she began to beat him while he was down.
She began beating the man's face in with unrelenting force disfiguring him to an untreatable state, his jaw was dislodged and half his teeth were missing, his whole face covered in cuts that made blood pool on the floor.
Taking heavy breaths Jiro started to calm down, letting go of the bloody keyboard she quickly realized she forgot something very important... Rimuru....
"Sh*t sh*t! Are you alright?" Jiro quickly kneeled down in front of Rimuru's unmoving body, shaking him time after time he didn't react. She felt her hope dwindling, especially seeing the hole in the middle of his forehead. Nevertheless, she put her ear to his chest when she heard
*Budump*
As if a weight had been dropped off of her shoulders she breathed a sigh of relief before rummaging through her jacket for the communicator. Pressing the emergency button EdgeShot's voice answered
"Is there an issue?" His voice had a slight tinge of concern however he still sounded relatively calm
"Came here quickly! Rimuru was shot!" Jiro shouted into the communicator before spotting the pistol dropped on the ground. She carefully picked it up for safety reasons... Of course, she didn't forget to reload it
"Are you somewhere safe?" EdgeShot asked over the device to which Jiro quickly answered back
"I just dealt with the last guy! We're inside the building inside the office" After relaying her location Jiro lay in wait, and after a few minutes, EdgeShot entered the room by folding himself through the gap in the window.
"Did you acquire any Intel?" EdgeShot asked while surveying the room, other than Rimuru's unconscious body and the bloodied man the room was messy with opened files scattering the floor.
"We found several places, but were not sure of their significance" Jiro answered while pointing at the file on the table, she hurriedly carried Rimuru on her back
"Call an ambulance!" Jiro asked EdgeShot since she and Rimuru couldn't bring their phones to the mission... Espionage rules...
"We can't" However EdgeShot immediately shot down her request much to her surprise
"Why not? Rimuru is injured!" She argued however EdgeShot refuted
"If we call an ambulance the gangs might catch on, they don't contact these kinds of places often so we might have a few weeks before they actually discover they have been compromised" As soon as EdgeShot mentioned the enemies she realized she completely forgot to restrain the guy she beat up
"I forgot to restrain him!" She jumped back in case the man might wake up and attack however EdgeShot didn't, he approached the body on the ground
"There's no need... He's.. dead"
"Huh? How?!?"
"I suspect he died from blunt force trauma," EdgeShot said with slight sarcasm, however, Jiro wasn't in the mood for jokes anymore. She felt her stomach turn inside out, dripping her knees she puked her breakfast onto the floor...
"I pity the investigation team who will have to clean this up..." EdgeShot said before carrying both Jiro and Rimuru to the nearest hospital
***********************************************
Waking up I was confronted with the hospital ceiling, feeling a strange sense of dejà vu I quickly sat up and breathed a sigh of relief... I'm not a baby... I don't have to experience that hell again...
"Rimuru! You're awake" my 'nostalgic' thoughts were interrupted by Jiro who hugged me as soon as I sat up.
"Yes... I'm not dead" I massaged my bandaged forehead before looking down, seeing Jiro begin to tear up. Unfortunately, this is one of the times when having very little empathy is a bane rather than a boon. I had no qualms about killing people but when it comes to comforting people it gets really awkward...
Wait doesn't that make me a sociopath? Oh no! I'm edgy now...
"It seems you've awoken from your nap princess" Hearing the semi-sarcastic tone of EdgeShot I turned my gaze toward him with an annoyed expression
"It's lucky your skull is so thick, if not your brain would've been mush" Like an arrow piercing my chest EdgeEhot jabbed at me while looking at an x-ray of my face... Of course, my skull wasn't thick it was just strong as hell...
It still got cracked though, luckily the doctors said that my healing ability was miraculous and thus there wasn't even a need for stitching.
"I heard how your mission went, you did well except for that last moment screw up. Good job" EdgeShot said while pulling out the file he recovered
"We've confirmed the details that the locations we got indeed hold much larger branches of the Shie Hassaikai, unfortunately for the next missions you won't be participating. This is a job for the pros" EdgeShot said before leaving the room. With the quiet atmosphere, I finally decided to check what Raphael wanted with me.
'Raphael, show me the new messages'
[S-sure]
I raised my eyebrows slightly hearing Raphael stuttering but I associated it with a glitch
[Weather manipulation(Quirk) -> Veldora lord of storms(sealed)]
[You have acquired [Law of Lightning and storms] the weather obeys your will]
Well, that's useful... I wonder if I could summon Veldora... Though that might be a bad idea considering his... Personality
[Air Wall(Quirk) -> unique skill [barrier]]
[Scanning(Quirk) -> Universal Senses(Partially Unsealed)]
[Bullet lasers(Quirk) -> extra skill [Photokenisis]]
[Hydra(Quirk) -> Extra skill [Partial Draconic transformation]]
[Cell Activation(Quirk) -> Unique Skill [Overclock]]
[All For One(Quirk)(Fractured) -> Ultimate Skill [Abezethibou Lord of Conquest]]
...huh? Ultimate Skill? I quickly looked at the skill, my eyes almost popping out of their sockets. I imagined I would only get to use Rimuru's skills but I can create my own... Wait aren't I Rimuru now? Which means... I can attain my own powers
A grin formed on my face before I began reading the description of Abezethibou
[Abezethibou Lord of Conquest:
- Conquerer: Your and your subject's powers grow with each battle (You can evolve your allies' skills after certain conditions are met)
- All is mine: You are drastically less affected by quirks, and none of your skills can be stolen or disrupted by All For One, Erasure, and the like
- A Wise King: A Wise King can see disasters before they happen. You gain otherworldly intuition. ]
Seeing the perks of the skill I almost jumped up from my bed. As expected from a skill derived from one of the most powerful quirks... Though it isn't as powerful as I expect ultimate skills to be...
Looking at [Conquer] I decided to try out the whole 'evolve an Allie's skills' I turned my gaze towards Jiro and thought of using the skill on her
[Condition not met.]
Damn... Alright, Raphael what's the condition?
[...]
'Damn Useless' I clicked my tongue before realizing I was too distracted by my new skills.
'I'll test the rest of the skills later...'
turning my attention back I realized the room was still suffocated by an awkward silence...
"So-- R-Rimuru are you alright?" Jiro said trying to break the ice however her attempt was quite terrible, to be honest...
"I've never been better, I'm really energized actually," I said while feeling my newfound powers, I can passively feel [Law of Storms] like those Chinese novels said I can tell I have a natural control over the weather around me.
"That's good" Jiro smiled hearing my reply however I quickly shot it down
"But I'm really bored" Because we couldn't bring our phones to the mission we didn't have our phones here either, so I couldn't distract myself
However, soon enough an idea struck my mind, turning my gaze back to Jiro a strange grin formed on my face...
"Oui Rimuru... Wait wait wait! We can't do it in a hospital!"
"There's a curtain, nobody will see us"
"But what if someone heard?"
"Then try not to be too loud"
"Wait---"
EdgeShot who was waiting outside decided not to enter the rooms sighing inwardly he muttered
"Ah, youth"

Midoriya had been tense for the past few days, he had barely any rest. He felt uncomfortable knowing he couldn't do anything until the investigation team found significant Intel.
Although he trusts Rimuru and Jiro he knew Rimuru was likely to not take things seriously sometimes. And he often dreams of Eri, waking in cold sweat.
"You seem out of it recently... I know this is nerve-wracking but you have to take a breather" Bubble girl comforted Midoriya while passing by him in the hallways, however as soon as he heard the door to Nighteye's office open he went right in.
"Nighteye's sir. Did we get anything? I'm worried" Midoriya asked Nighteye who was currently reviewing a batch of files on his table, waiting for a response each second felt like hours as the sounds of papers flipping echoed in his mind
"Rimuru and Jiro recovered some Intel, unfortunately, it was another location. We'll have to check it out to find more targeted intel. in addition, the court proceeding has been going well and the commission has allowed us to initiate a raid. Unfortunately, we weren't given that much manpower" Nighteye sighed seeing the measly numbers written on the commission's reply. The number was barely enough to surround the place, much less provide support against villains
Midoriya didn't know what to say, with both good news and bad he felt like he couldn't ask any questions without seeming unreasonable.
"Fortunately we will be able to start the attack in a week or two at the least, however, we need to ensure our own safety as well as Eri's" As Midoriya heard Eri's he tensed up slightly. He already got a sneak peek at the battle plan itself
"I will do my best" Midoriya shouted with determination in his voice

A/N: All right Rimuru has finally stepped into too OP for the verse realm. Right now AFO is probably the only one who could put up a fight against him... Which makes me kinda concerned for the future...
Let's hope I can make the story make sense
