The good news from the front lines quickly dispersed the gloom that had been hovering over the people of the Alliance.

'The Alliance Army is indeed reliable,' many thought to themselves. Consequently, on the interstellarnet, many previous insulting comments about the Alliance Army were quietly deleted by their posters, and replaced with words of praise and gratitude.

Yuka looked at these comments, expressionless, then turned off her opticomputer and left her room.

Five minutes later, she arrived at Central Square. She located the meeting spot she had arranged with Toru and Kimiko. Before she could get close, she saw them waving their arms excitedly, faces red as they talked to each other.

Seeing Yuka, their emotions hadn't yet settled. With puffy, red eyes, they stared at her as she approached, as if harboring deep hatred towards her.

Yuka remained silent.
