"Why is your chest red? Did you fight your way out of the court?" Hazel asked, touching the red mark on his chest.
"I might have," Tobias answered. "It doesn't hurt. It can't be as bad as your expression is making it seem."
"I wonder who would be so bold to harm the prince to keep him in the court. Was it your father?" Hazel questioned as Jeffrey was always eager to smack sense into Tobias.
"It might have been. He's getting too old to hold me back. Don't worry about the mark. Continue," Tobias said, more interested in her stripping him than the mark that would eventually go away.
"I will send Mary for something to put on it if it does not get better in a few hours. I don't need anyone thinking that this was my doing," said Hazel, continuing to remove his shirt.
"What would be wrong with that? They should think I had a good time during my wedding night and the days after."
"You are ridiculous," Hazel said, shaking her head.
