Chapter 165: Terror Resonance

Yang Qi cleaned with a somewhat vacant look in his eyes as he stared into the void ahead, lost in his thoughts. It wasn't until Yan Fei patted his shoulder that Yang Qi snapped back to reality. He looked up to see Yan Fei and Lu Pingping standing in front of him, uttered an "Oh," and then continued sweeping the fallen leaves on the ground.

The two knew this was just how Yang Qi was and that his behavior wasn't personal. After his acknowledgment, they didn't take offense.

Lu Pingping asked curiously, "Yang Qi, why are you cleaning here? Aren't you conducting scientific research anymore?"

Yang Qi didn't answer Lu Pingping's question; instead, he turned his back to Yan Fei and Lu Pingping and continued to sweep the leaves. That's when a young girl approached. She was young but short and plump, with some brown freckles on her face. She stepped in front of Yang Qi and said, "Who are you guys? Why are you disturbing Qi Qi at his work?"
