Chapter 906: Confusing Relationships

All the way, Gu Fan's mind was filled with thoughts of Helen. What was this woman's deal? Why did she insist on sticking around? Even if she was tasked with surveilling Gu Fan, it was too blatant.

When Gu Fan and Su Hui drove back to the old house and saw the light still on in Helen's room, both of their brows furrowed, unsure how to coexist under the same roof after the unpleasant events they had just experienced.

As they entered, they saw Helen at the dining table, smiling and greeting Gu Fan and Su Hui, "Hi, you're back late. You must be starving after the whole night. Come taste my cooking."

Seeing the table laden with food, Gu Fan and Su Hui frowned, wondering what Helen was playing at.

"Although there was a bit of unpleasantness tonight, it wasn't really my fault. So, I think we can still be friends. And as friends, I want to make up for tonight's discomfort," Helen said, still smiling as if she was sincere.
