"Let's not waste time talking, let's get started." Qian Cangyi once again extended his right hand.
[Round two: Qian Cangyi rock, Lin Zheng scissors. Qian Cangyi wins]
"Looks like you've lost again, and for the second time in the same way." Qian Cangyi shook his head, already victorious in their best of three.
Lin Zheng did not respond to Qian Cangyi's provocation; he furrowed his brows, silently brooding.
"Better luck next time!" Qian Cangyi shook his head, disappointment written across his face.
The two went their separate ways and the next day – well, for Lin Zheng, at any rate – he woke up to find himself still in hospital.
Everything seemed to be carrying on as normal, no surprises. Except for…
"How many times has it been now?" Qian Cangyi's question reached Lin Zheng's ear.
"A second time." Lin Zheng didn't lie. He had no need to lie and he had no intention of toying with Qian Cangyi.
