I groaned as I slowly regained consciousness, my back aching. I blinked, taking in the sight of the plain white ceiling above me.

Where am I?

I attempted to move, but a wave of pain shot through my body, causing me to let out a pained moan. What the hell happened? Did someone attack me? It all came rushing back to me in a sudden realization.

We were on the ship. Everything went wrong. I fell into the water and nearly drowned! Right... I remember now. I thought that was the end for me, considering I couldn't even move a finger.

Taking a deep breath, I winced as another wave of pain washed over me. Closing my eyes, I felt a throbbing ache in my head, accompanying the pain in my body. Damn it! I can't remember anything after falling into the water!
