"This…"

Hayato didn't expect the other party to stay silent at this moment.

He scratched his cheeks.

"Do I look suspicious or something?"

He muttered to himself and sighed once again.

"Look, Yugito, I really mean you no harm, after all, if I wanted to hurt you, I could have already done so, here in this place, I can do anything I want… for example!"

He twisted his fingers, and suddenly the ground which she and Hayato were stepping on suddenly extended from the ground and went high into the sky.

Yugito tightened her hold on her kunai and was vigilant.

And her tailed beast, Matatabi didn't know either.

But I wasn't over just yet.

The ground they were on earlier, now left under her, had now turned into lava, and the heat had reached her from down there, and she could tell it was real and not a Genjutsu since she could feel it on her skin. Plus, it was hard to put her in a Genjutsu as a Jinchuriki.

Hayato then snapped his fingers and everything returned to the way it was before.

"I didn't want to use anything on your body to not scare you, but you get the meaning,"

That meaning being, he didn't want to hurt her since he could easily do so.

She let her hands rest as she put the kunai away.

'This man, he is already strong on his own, but now without even moving he can change reality… or whatever this space is'

Matatabi in her mind reminded her and Yugito listened attentively.

"Now, I'm sure you have some questions but let's enter the house first."

At some point, a house appeared behind him and she took a deep breath before she followed him in.

As the two sat on the table, Hayato poured tea for them, before he said.

"My name is Hayato, and as you can tell, I'm pretty strong in this world,"

He cheekily said.

Yugito was starting to relax around this guy- this Hayato.

After all, the last thing she remembered was dying or being close to death.

Now she was here with some weird coincidence, she might as well see where it would go.

And this guy was friendly so that was a plus.

"Yugito Ni"

She replied bowing her head slightly, despite him already knowing that.

"Now, don't ask any questions just yet, I'll explain everything about this place,"

He raised his hand and stated.

When he saw her stay silent, he nodded his head.

"First of all, the current you was brought from the brink of death, you must remember that much,"

He saw her nod.

"Then you should know, that time outside has stopped, and it will stay stopped until two years in here pass. I know it's hard to believe, but I have no reason to lie to you,"

He took a deep breath and dropped the bomb on his mind.

Yugito was shocked, to say the least.

But as a seasoned ninja, her mind quickly tried to verify the authenticity of this.

Hayato gave her the time needed when he saw her pondering expression.

She first remembered that there indeed seemed to be ninjutsu in the shinobi world capable of space/time manipulation.

That was the fourth Hokage's jutsu that he was famous for.

Going by that logic, someone this strong, could maybe manipulate time?

Her eyes gained a bit of apprehension toward this person.

"Sigh, stop looking at me like that," Hayato sighed when he saw that.

"I told you, all I want is to train you as my disciple, I mean isn't that awesome for you? You'll become stronger, and by the end of it, you can see if I'm trying to harm you or not." 

"Also, once the two years passed, you'll be returned to your position when you were injured in the real world, except this time you would be perfectly healed, that's a bonus,"

As he said his words, he waited for her for a bit to think it through and discuss it with her tailed beast.

When a bit passed, it seemed like she had reached a decision.

He looked at her expectantly.

"I choose…"

Yugito went to change her clothes to those of training as told by Hayato.

Meanwhile, he started to ponder how to train Yugito.

What was Yugito strong at previously?

She could use a fire release that was somewhat special.

It was influenced by Matatabi and became much hotter and stronger, with a blue color instead of the usual red…

However, her use of it was extremely limited.

She could maybe shoot a normal fireball, and then a technique to shoot a flaming ball of hair, surrounded by fire, that turns into the shape of a mouse and then breaks up into several single hairs on fire that can pursue the target before exploding, once they come in contact with an object.

As for her taijutsu.

She was one of the best in her village, Kumogakure.

She had even been praised by the likes of Killer Bee.

So that was a sort of pride for her.

She could lengthen her nails and attack with them in taijutsu, and these nails could clash evenly with swords.

Finally, she could access the two-tailed beast transformation state where she would become a huge blue cat. Matatabi.

But it can be seen that her control of the chakra of a tailed beast is subpar.

After all, she didn't know how to use it efficiently and had a very limited range of techniques and jutsu to use.

So, with this, Hayato decided to fix that.

'So, the first order of business, is to make her master her Jinchuriki status and expand her jutsu repertoire.'

He nodded to himself.

'Her taijutsu is next, it could still use some fine-tuning,'

Finally, the real strength he would give her…

'Would be this!'

Hayato held a devil fruit in his hands.

This was what the system delivered to him as soon as Yugito chose to accept him as her teacher.

"This will be given to her once she finishes those preliminary tasks…"

He chuckled as he imagined her using hundreds of arms on her enemy ninjas and skewer them.

At this moment, Yugito came back, and she was ready to start this training, not yet knowing what was going to happen for sure.
