Chapter 44

Hiccup Pov:

The next day I got to building some of the suits. They are modeled like mine so that they come out in case they don't get them out in time. We did lessons the next day with the chiefs and they had fun.

Time Skip

It has been almost a year since me and Astrid got married and my parents passed away last week. They had passed away to an unknown illness. Before mom passed, she told me that I have a younger sister who went missing about 3 years before we met.

She didn't tell me about her before as not to worry me and Stoick. She said that she was lost near the school island that was destroyed in the attack. I plan on going and searching around there in the future but I can't since Astrid just had our first born Zephyr.

She has my hair and Astrid's eyes. I guess I will go searching in a few months.

School has been good and yeah stuff has been normal. I decide to go on a walk on Snoggletog with Astrid. Zephyr is with us and she is around 2 months old.

We are going to the cliff when we see a ship coming towards us. "Look." I say to Astrid and she looks and responds. "I had Gobber fix up your flight suit last year, do you want to take that?"

"Sure, where is it, just wondering." I ask Astrid and she says. "It is beneath the bed, I will have ruff watch Zephyr." "No you should stay with her!" I say as we run back.

"You think I am going to let you fly to your death you are wrong. I am coming and there is nothing you can do about it." Astrid says and she is right.

When we get back, we tell the gang and Ruff and Tuff watch Zephyr and I leave Gobber in charge. The other Villages end up hearing about it and Dagur and Heather came to help. We get on our flight suits and we go to the cliff.

Astrid, Heather, and Dagur are here with me looking out and I say. "Come on." As I jump off and we glide to the boat as we are shot at. We dodge, Land, and start knocking people out. The insignia on the sails was a person who looked like they were part dragon.

When the crew awakes, I ask. "Why are you here?" In a cold stern voice. They end up saying. "We came in search of the man on the sails. Our leader wishes to meet him since he is a dragon, yet all dragons are gone."

"Where can we find this person?" Dagur says, we are all in our armor from our dragons so they don't know us. I am in my old gear since mine is still getting repaired.

"They are near the island with the school that got attacked a few years ago. You will find them in a cave system unreachable by anything but dragons." The leader says.

"I know where you are talking about, now if you will leave we will be on our way." I say but they just chuckle. "How would you be on your way, there is no way back to that island without us, plus then we can see if the person is there."

I take everybody to the other side and say. "We are not letting them on the island Right?" "Yeah." Dagur says. "Then I am burning the boat, Astrid take Dagur and Heather back, I will be up in a second." I say when Dagur asks. "How?"

"You will see brother." I say as Astrid and I transform, Astrid Grabs Dagur and heather and fly's back. I turn to the crew as I see them scared and say in Norse. "It seems you found who you were looking for, just not properly." I say as I blast the ship sending it on fire.

I then fly away back to the cliff above the library, It is currently night so no one saw me. When I get back Dagur and Heather ask me. "What was that."

They looked surprised and deserved to know so I tell them the story and make them promise not to tell. We go back to our villages and Astrid grabs Zephyr from Ruff, and we go home.

The next day we decide to go on a trip and let everybody know. I leave someone Trustworthy in charge and someone who had experience. The gang comes with me, and we get our ship ready, It is basically a mini version of the trapper ships.

It has an above deck Captain quarters and below it has many rooms for sleeping and other stuff. The sail has my insignia of a Nightfury on it and it also has a small crow's nest.

As it turns out I was great at driving? a ship. I knew the currents and everything. The ship was called The Nightfury with a figurehead of Toothless. It was at a Port near an entrance to the school and Festival area and was used for gathering fish for parties and school sometimes. School was off for the Holidays and I left Gobber and Dagur in charge of my classes.

We set sail east towards berk to pick up some stuff before going to my Island.
