Chapter 187: Two Robots

Nojiko, Kaya, Vivi, BM and HQ saw a dozen pirates surrounding them. There were a dozen men with two large robots. The first robot was a large, yellow and violet robot with a broad chest, a flat head, one large eye, a violet square where the other should be, and large teeth. It had a mace for one arm and a long spear for the other arm. It had black lower half designed to resemble pants. 

The second robot was a large, yellow and grey robot with a broad chest, a flat head, and two large grey eyes. It had a long spear for one arm and a cannon for the other arm. It had black lower half designed to resemble pants. 

"Those robots are annoying," Kaya said.

"And there are two of them," Vivi said.

"Surrender now, and we will let the other live," the pirate shouted. He was wearing a blue sleeveless overall which had the Simon Pirate`s Jolly Roger in the centre. He wore black shoes and a blue hat. He had a red striped shirt. 

"We only want the devil fruit users," another pirate said. He was also wearing a blue sleeveless overall which had the Simon Pirate`s Jolly Roger in the centre. He wore black shoes and a blue hat. He had an orange striped shirt. 

"Mau Ra Ma and Wau Ra Wa will use force," a pirate said. He was also wearing a blue sleeveless overall which had the Simon Pirate`s Jolly Roger in the centre. He wore black shoes and a blue hat. He had a pink striped shirt. 

"These guys are a bit different from what we previously fought," Kaya said.

"They might be stronger?" Vivi asked.

"I don't know about stronger but they are different," HQ said.

"We should take those robots down. BM and HQ can you take one down? Maybe lure one back to Lexie," Nojiko asked.

"Me, Vivi and Kaya can take the other one down," Nojiko added. 

"Sure, but we can also run away," HQ said.

"These robots will be used against us in the future. We were dealing with one before, now they have two. Let's try to eliminate as many as possible," Nojiko replied.

"Nojiko right, we don't know how many they and the face they have not used more than one before means they are difficult to make and use," Kaya said.

"Yes, let's take them. We don't want them to amass these robots and use them against us in the future," Vivi said. The girls all agreed. 

BM and HQ smiled. "Sure, leave the grey one on to us," HQ said she launched a fly kick towards Wau Ra Wa. She hit the robot and did a summer assault in his face and took her gun out and shot him in the face. The robot stumbled back. He stabilised and swung a long spear at HQ. HQ dodged easily and jumped off the robot. She landed in the group of men. 

"Get them," the first pirate said. HQ kicked the pirate in the chest. He stumbled backwards. She followed up with a punch to the face. The pirate went down. His hat flew off. Wau Ra Wa went to strike HQ again with his spear. This time, BM flew over and used Kiribachi to block the spear. 

"Follow me," BM said. She jumped back. The robot pursued her. BM jumped back again. The robot followed.

HQ put another pirate in a headlock and choked him out. He collapsed onto the ground. She ran up to another pirate and kicked him in the knee. The pirate dropped down onto his other knee in pain where she kicked his face. He went flying down. 

Another pirate tried to shoot HQ however HQ dodged. She flew towards him and punched him in the chest. She followed up with a kick to the knee and another kick to the bottom of his chin. The pirate went down. The final pirate looked terrified. HQ ran over and punched him in the chest. He went down. She saw BM jumping back and flew towards them. 

Meanwhile Vivi was fighting other half a dozen men. Kaya had flown towards the other robot and attacked it. Nojiko followed her. Vivi looked at the men. They were all wearing blue overalls. She thought about the uniformed men from before. She sighed. 

"Your friends left you," the pirate said, who was wearing the blue overalls.

"They know I can handle myself," Vivi said.

"We only want devil fruit users," said another pirate. 

"For?" Vivi asked.

"We can't tell you," the third pirate said.

"It's for nothing good," Vivi said.

"Our Captain has big plans," the second pirate said.

"Enough chatting. Let's take her hostage so her friends will surrender to us," the first pirate ordered.

The pirates started walking towards her. Vivi who had the Gero Gero gun aimed at the pirates.

The pirates saw it in her and laughed. "What a funny toy," the second pirate said. Vivi fired a frog shaped bullet at the group. It creates an explosion taking three of them out. 

The pirates looked at the explosion in shock. They did not expect such an attack. The pirates in blue overalls aimed their guns. They fired. Vivi jumped out of the way and dodged the bullets. She aimed her Gero Gero gun and fired again. It hit the three remaining three pirates and they all went down. The six pirates were on the ground, moving slightly in pain.

Vivi ran towards Mau Ra Ma. Kaya charged a beam in her hand and fired it at the robot. "Angel Beam," she said. The attack hit the robot chest. He stumbled back however he was not phased. He swung his iron mace down, attempting to strike Kaya. Kaya flew back. 

"Cloud Surge," Nojiko said as she created dense storm clouds. The dense clouds surrounded Mau Ra Ma. It looked around in confusion. "Lightning Barrage," Nojiko said as the clouds darkened and a lightning bolt hit the robot. The robot looked unphased however it did not move. 

Vivi saw the lightning bolt hit the robot. She saw the shadow and aimed her Gero Gero gun and fired. The frog shaped bullet hit the robot. At the same time Kaya opened her mouth and fired a golden beam from her mouth towards the robot. "Angel HyperBeam," Kaya said. The beam hit the robot. The robot stumbled back and fell over.

"He is tough for sure," Kaya said. 

"But not invincible," Nojiko said.

Mau Ra Ma got up. It looked around. It jumped into the air above the clouds that Nojiko created. He saw Nojiko and dived toward her. He put his long spear forward and came down. He stabbed Nojiko with his spear. However Nojiko turned her body into clouds and was not hurt. The robot looked as he hit clouds. She transformed back. 

Vivi ran up and fired her Gero Gero gun at the robot. She fired three shots at him. Three explosions could be seen. The robot stumbled back. Vivi approached Nojiko. "Are you okay?" Vivi asked.

"I am fine," Nojiko replied 

"Logia devil fruit is handy," Vivi said. Nojiko nodded. Kaya flew towards the robot. "Angel Smash," Kaya said as she fused her energy in her hand and punched the robot. The robot fell over. 

Kaya then followed up another attack. She opened her mouth and fired a golden beam towards the robot who was on the ground. "Angel HyperBeam," Kaya said. She hit the robot's chest and a small explosion could be seen. Kaya flew back towards Nojiko and Vivi.

"Good job Kaya," Vivi said. 

"It's not over," Nojiko said.

The smoke cloud cleared. The robot had a missing panel in his chest. 

"It will be soon," Kaya added. 

The robot charged towards the girls. "Cloud Surge," Nojiko said as she created dense storm clouds. The dense clouds surrounded the robot again. It stopped again and looked.

"Seems like the clouds are obscuring his vision," Vivi pointed out. 

"Yes, we should use this to our advantage," Kaya said. 

Kaya raised her hand. She charged her energy. A yellow beam shot from her hand and hit the robot exposed panel. "Angel Beam," Kaya said. The robot stumbled backwards. 

"Tornado Shroud," Nojiko said as she used her cloud surrounding him to create a rotating cyclone. The intensity of the wind was incredible and the robot was thrown into the air. 

Vivi started to fire her Gero Gero gun at the robot in the air. She fired several rounds. There were several explosions. 

Kaya flew up. "Angel Heaven`s Arrow," Kaya said as she fired a large white arrow shaped projection of white energy towards the robot`s exposed chest. It was hurled at high speed, and pierced through the exposed panel. The robot exploded. 

"Wow that attack," Vivi said. 

"It is powerful," Nojiko added. They both had their mouths opened. 

Kaya was breathing heavily. She started to transform back into her human form. Her eyes closed and she fell down. She came hurling towards the ground. 

"Kaya," Vivi shouted. She looked in panic to see her friend falling.

"Cloud Surge," Nojiko said as she created more clouds on the ground. Kaya landed on the clouds and cushioned her fall. Vivi ran to her and helped her up. Kaya looked tired.

"Are you okay?" Vivi said. 

"I am a bit tired," Kaya replied.

Vivi pulled her arm over her. Nojiko came running as well and helped Kaya out. 

"That is taxing on your body," Nojiko said.

"It is tiring but the attack is powerful," Kaya said.

"We needed that extra firepower," Kaya added.

Vivi and Nojiko reluctantly nodded. Vivi thought she needed to get stronger. The Gero Gero gun was good but her devil fruit given by her Captain, her lover, Ben will be stronger. Vivi looked determined. 

Nojiko thought she also needed to get stronger. She needed more attacks and more creative ways to use her devil fruit. 

"Lets head back to Lexie," Nojiko said.

"Should we not explore?" Kaya said. Her voice was weak. 

"No, we go and rest," Vivi firmly stated. Nojiko nodded and they headed back to Lexie.
