Underwater Shelter

Two weeks soon passed without any more excitement. The shelter had covered the distance of twice the circumference of the earth, since they started their journey. It was actually very fast, with its huge size, and it's lack of necessities other modes of transportation would require.

Bian had been probing for the last two weeks, but no creature took the bait. He didn't know if the super creatures were really so scarce, or if they had grown weary of the indigo light.

Once his Enperical Aura was activated, an indigo light spread faster than it could be perceived, with him as the source.

The intensity of the light was uniform, so he could blend in perfectly with others in the light, without becoming a target.

After unlocking more self gene locks, Bian found out that his Emperical Aura could fight more against the suppressive nature of the third sanctuaries.

With Eight gene locks opened, his Emperical Aura could travel very fast and cover unfathomable distances in a matter of hours. The sheer amount of information was astounding, causing Bian to only focus on the bare minimum.

After two hours with the Emperical Aura active, just when he was considering deactivation, Bian spotted a shelter on the far distance to the extreme right. The shelter had several creatures which stood alertly when the light washed over them.

He couldn't read life flow with the Emperical Aura, but judging by the size of the shelter, size of the creatures and the depth at which they lived, those were super creatures living in a super shelter.

This shelter was several times larger than the mobile shelter Bian was currently on. It was like a mega city located underwater.

Bian informed Hope spirit to steer off the right track and move towards the direction of the shelter. He sat down to meditate and recover his strength for the battle up ahead.

The moving shelter eventually stopped, right in front of a large barrier made of water. The barrier was glowing an otherworldly blue, separating the underwater shelter from the rest of the ocean.

"Three super creatures and one Emperor spirit. I can't let the Ink Sun Dragon vaporize their bodies, which might put me in a pickle." With the use of the hyperactive body and soul pillar, Bian was more than capable of fighting a super creature.

Emphasis on the 'a', meaning just one super creature. If he pushed himself, with the dongxuan movement and heavenly go he could defeat two, and stall the three. Unfortunately the spirit would not be so easy to handle, they were more sentient and thus more dangerous.

"I guess it's finally time." Bian dived into his sea of soul. There he saw the various beast souls he had acquired in their beast forms.

Over a week ago

In Bian's Sea of Soul, his consciousness gazed at the black crystal for a moment before turning to the fifty meter shrimp. Then he looked at the two meter sword fish swimming beside it.

The sword fish looked more like an earthworm when compared to the Destructive Shrimp.

Bian had gotten this beast soul randomly when his Emperical Aura was active. He wasn't paying attention to that area when the swordfish died in it.

The beast soul of the super Destructive Shrimp was a gem type, which could elevate the rank of other beast souls to super rank. The chances for a successful fusion were low, only increasing slightly if both beast souls were of the same species and same elements.

Those were the hurdles normal people had to face. Bian immediately fused both beast souls without any hesitation. Needless to say, the Empirical Will was active.

Under the scrutinising gaze of his consciousness, the Silver Swordfish and the Destructive Shrimp fused together. A bright light flashed, and an invisible wave rippled through his sea of soul.

Bian felt a weird sensation, coming from his very existence. This wasn't the first time, he had used a gem type beast soul but it felt different this time. It was like he was learning from it, if that was even possible.

"How weird."

Present time

[Type of Beast Soul of Super Creature Destructive Silver Sword Fish: One-use weapon]

The cocoon formed by those fusion had hatched. Bian now had a fatal weapon against a single super creature or spirit. Eliminating one of his opponents allies would snowball the fight to his favour.

"Let's go!" Bian summoned the Vermin Devil king beast soul. A golden vambrace with a long slender blade attached, covered his right arm.

The Ink Sun Dragon was ablaze with a furious white halo. Both terrifying creatures approached the barrier of the underwater shelter.

The dongxuan sutra allowed each of Bian's cell to absorb oxygen from the water directly. He didn't need to worry about drowning, and thus would only use the jadebody when the situation was dire.

Clank! Clank!

The bluish water barrier was like an indestructible glass dome. Normal super creatures would find it hard to destroy it.

"Inkus! Give it a shot!" Bian came to a profound realisation with the excessive free time on hand. He started calling the Ink Sun Dragon, Inkus as its actual name.

The Ink Sun Dragon used almost half of its energy, concentrating it into a black ball made of pure energy. The black ball was shrouded in furious white burning flames, which amplified it's powers several times over.

The Ink Sun Dragon positioned itself to remove Bian from the blast radius. A pillar of black light, enhanced by burning white flames fell on the barrier.

The stalwart blue dome protecting the shelter, could only stand for a second before it shattered into many fragments.

Bian approached the shelter, unleashing an unstoppable indigo light upon the vast structure.

"Eager for death!" An enraged voice came from the spirit hall followed by three huge shockwaves in the water.

In mere moments, Bian was surrounded by a spirit and three super creatures. The spirit was like a man, except he had golden gills and was two meters tall. His right hand held a golden trident, which emitted a dangerous aura.

There was a creature made of water and fire to his left. The weird humanoid amalgamation was a skeleton of fire, shrouded in a layer of water acting as its skin.

To his right was a large electric eel with red scales. Red lightning streaked across the surface of its shiny scales, making it look even more bloodthirsty than the other creatures.

Behind Bian came a big crab with shiny blue metallic carapace and exaggerated pincers.

"Looks like you drew the short end of the straw." Bian said while facing the water fire monster.

With no flesh, Bian had no use for this humanoid creature. With a single command sent to the Inkus, a black pillar of energy shrouded with white flames engulfed the hybrid monster.

[Super Creature Enraged Current killed. Beast soul has been acquired. The flesh is inedible. Eat the life essence to gain 0 to 10 super geno points respectively.]

With a single beam, a super creature was killed. The Ink Sun Dragon floated on standby, slowly recharging its lost energy with the aid of the white halo around it.

The spirit stood still in fear and shock. He had constricted the water at the last moment, but the attack of that monster broke through it like it was paper.

"Still not coming? Then you're next!" Bian summoned a silver sword in his right arm. He swung it towards the electric eel and a silver sword light flew towards the beast.

The original 1 meter sword light, expanded to 10 meters while the silver sword, dissipated and got absorbed into the silver sword light.

"Scree!"

Feeling the breath of death falling upon it, the red electric eel let out a shrill scream and dispersed all the energy from its body at once.

Red electric bolts, each as thick as an arm jolted out to counter the silver sword light.

"No!" The spirit yelled, turning the trident to face the electric eel. Layers of water solidified in an instant into barriers super creatures would find difficult to break.

Other Emperor spirits would be slightly embarrassed in front of these extremely dense barriers. But the silver sword light cut through those barriers like paper and continued unabated.

It power had weakened, but it wasn't enough to stop it from slicing through all the retaliatory red lighting of the eel and splitting the beast in twain.

[Super Creature Lightning Lieutenant killed. The beast soul has been acquired. The flesh is edible. Eat the life essence to gain 0 to 10 life geno points randomly.]

"Two are already dead, will you continue watching?" Bian taunted the spirit.

Fear soon gave way to anger, as he charged at Bian from the front while the blue crab advanced from the rear, trapping Bian in a pincer attack.
