I finally feel like a protagonist.

Bian raised up his arm, signalling his side to stop attacking. The Aerial Scavengers and Bloodfang Sentinels, got to work, picking up the clean carcass of several sacred blood creatures and a few peimitive ones. Only two mutant creatures were also carried along by them.

'Thankfully I ordered them to initially kill as cleanly as possible, so most animals died by decapitation.' Bian let out a breath of relief, satisfied that he was able to gather complete bodies while looking at the chunks of meat and blood scattered all around him.

The remaining creatures hurriedly retreated behind Ma Ting, who did not dare to go away. Just as Bian had killed his mount, he could easily kill him.

"Who are you! What do you want!" Ma Ting raised his voice. Both humans and spirits looked towards Bian, anticipating his response.

"I'm really busy, and this was taking too much time, so I asked you all to gather." Bian spoke, his arm still in the air.

"What does that even mean!" Ma Ting yelled, he felt Bian was trying to humiliate him.

"Twenty percent power." Bian stroked down. A pillar of black light fell from the sky, devastating the creatures and spirits around Ma Ting.

Boom!!

Bian heard the voice of the sanctuaries telling him he had gained close to a thousand beast souls with that one move.

In a shelter, thousands of miles away. There was a magnificent spirit hall. The statue in that spirit hall was guided by two Knight like creatures.

The spirit stone in the forehead of that statue, glowed in a resplendent indigo light then exploded into tiny dust.

The knights died, the creatures and humans under the control of the spirit were suddenly free.

The same scene happened in several shelters, throughout the clover kingdom. Several spirit stones blew up at the same time.

...

"Old Lan, did you see that. Am I dreaming?" A person asked, unable to belive they were going to live to see another day.

"He's coming, comport yourself." The general said, causing the warriors to stiffen up.

"Where is Yi Dongmu?" Bian asked.

"Right here." Yi Dongmu walked out from the crowd, he had bandaged his injury. He looked at Bian with complicated emotions, unsure of how to approach.

If he had known Bian would end up being so formidable, he definately wouldn't have offended him. In fact, he would have tried his best to befriend someone so powerful.

"I want Love and Faith spirits. I have a promise to keep." Bian said, half expecting some resistance from Yi Dongmu.

Unexpectedly, the young assassin stepped forward and sent both spirits to Bian. He didn't make a fuss or even ask for anything in exchange.

"You've changed." Bian smiled.

"I have grown up. Please forgive my earlier actions." Yi Dongmu gave a sincere bow.

It was easy to be blinded by talent and grow arrogant. You would look down on everyone you thought was below you.

To own up and apologise though, almost all talented people couldn't do this. Bian was very satisfied with Yi Dongmu.

"Its all water under the bridge." He patted his shoulder and helped him up. He wasn't staying with them for long, but these humans needed a leader. Yi Dongmu would be a good one.

"Take these beast souls. Use them to aid everyone here." Bian sent over a thousand beast souls to Yi Dongmu. Even Sacred blood beast souls were useless to him now.

He only kept the atlatl, an armor and a pair of wings. The rest of his beast souls were sent to Yi Dongmu. Needless to say, super beast souls weren't even considered an option for transfer.

He even transferred ownership of all the pets he had grown. He was sure they were in the right hands.

"This is too much!" Yi Dongmu said, he had seen the power of the Aerial Scavengers, Rock Turtles and Bloodfang Sentinels. He was excited but knew this was way too much power for one person.

"Its really not, I'm going to take down clover, spade, diamond and heart kingdom. The humans under their control will be set free and will need a guiding hand. Are you up to the task?"

"Yes sir!" Yi Dongmu answered with a formal salute as though Bian was his military superior.

"Cut that out, we're the same age." Bian chuckled for a bit, then his expression darkened. "Make sure you take care of them, we need all the surpassers we can get."

Due to the war in the alliance against the shura, more evolvers had taken the step to become surpassers. Some were successful, but most were captured and enslaved by spirits.

Even once they were free, surving the third sanctuaries wasn't easy without a strong backer.

Bian didn't bother with farewells. He nodded towards Yi Dongmu and left the shelter. Heading back to Varkal's shelter was always a pain because of the height, but it was easier with sacred-blood wings.

As Bian was flying, he decided to check out his status, especially the points he needed to evolve.

[Geno points acquired: 100 Ordinary Geno Points; 86 Primitive Geno Points; 92 Mutant Geno Points; 42 Sacred Geno Points; 10 Super Geno Points.]

After a couple of hours he reached the top of the shelter where his pets had dropped the carcass before he transferred ownership.

There was close to twenty different corpses of different animals. Some had their heads cleanly choped off, while others had theirs brutally ripped away.

Bian used Vitality drain on the several corpses there, draining their blood until they were mere husks.

"So this is what a protagonist feels like." Bian couldn't help but comment, feeling the rippling power under his skin.

[Geno points acquired: 100 Ordinary Geno Points; 100 Primitive Geno Points; 100 Mutant Geno Points; 100 Sacred Geno Points; 10 Super Geno Points.]

"I feel like I'm cheating in life. No, this is how transmigration is supposed to work." He laughed out loud, slightly startling Hope Spirit.

"Where are the rest." Bian asked with a cough.

"They are near the tree." Hope Spirit said, walking closer to one of the only two trees remaining.

With Bian's life drops and her vitality powers acting on the trees, they grew faster than anything ever recorded in the history of the sanctuaries.

One tree grew fruits which would help her reach the peak of royalty in one go. She would only be a step away from becoming a Queen spirit. The other tree was grown by Bian.

It only had one purple fruit which represented the purple flames of petrification used by Varkal.

Bian bled out a white-striped tiger, a golden-furred wolf, a silver mammoth and the hellfire Lion near the tree.

A cruel smile formed on his lips, as he looked at the carcass of the Hellfire Lion.

Soon four more fruits formed on the tree. A green, gold, blue and blackish-red fruit representing wind, lightning, frost and fire elements.

Bian didn't need several aspects of the same power, rather he preferred to have several different elemental powers.

"Will I be around to enjoy this fruit though. Even with the life drops and Hope Spirit vitality powers working on it, it would take nearly two years to mature." Bian was honestly concerned as two years was a very long time. He would have evolved by then.

With all but his super gene points maxed out, Bian summoned the white serpent to release the Berserk Blade, Aeonshard.

Boom!

A tyrannical aura exploded as space itself was distorted by the extremely heavy halberd. Bian used the full potential of jade body, turning into an indestructible sculpture full of power.

"Arghh!"

With a guttural scream, Bian barely managed to drag the ten meter halberd, but he could not lift it.

The white serpent swallowed the halberd, it's tyrannical pressure faded from the shelter.

Bian returned to normal. If not for the constitution of jade body, he would have been sweating.

"Even with jade body, eight gene locks opened and all but my super gene points maxed out, I could only drag the halberd." Bian was exasperated.

What use would the halberd be, if he could only wield it when he was ready to evolve?

Not thinking further about it, Bian decided to practice his other move, Yin and Yang.

Back in the second sanctuaries, the two energy could be layered several times. Now, because of the suppressive powers of the third sanctuary, Bian could only layer them twice.

He could either use Yin in Yang.

Bang!

The force of his fist is saved as Yin energy and propelled forward with Yang energy. A nearby stone pillar, twenty meters away caved in.

"Seventy percent strength. Not too bad." He licked his dry lips.

He could also use Yang in Yin.

Boom!!

Explosive Yang energy is discretely transferred with the aid of penetrating Yin energy. Another stone pillar right beside him was punched, then it exploded.

He controlled his strength in both cases to see how much energy was actually used.

Yin in Yang, could maintain up to ninty percent of the original energy but decreased drastically with distance.

Yang in Yin, was even more monstrous and exerted two hundred percent of the energy used, but could only be used at point blank range. Bian was sure the material used would also affect the efficiency.

He took out the compass, two glowing light were shining on it.

"Man Tian, Han Yan." Bian narrowed his eyes. The compass didn't show who was closer, or differentiate between them. He could only choose one random point to approach.

The last pin of the compass was still with him, he handed the compass over to Hope Spirit and instructed her to move towards one of the points.
