Terraslip

Terraslip was a hyper geno art that allowed a person to swim through the ground like they were swimming in water. It relied on earth affinity, but could still function if you had precise muscle control and a high fitness.

Bian had precise muscle control and high fitness, Terraslip was basically made for him. In the future, he would slip into the ground to escape from annoying enemies. Using the beast soul of the Stone Devil Beast, would completely erase his presence making him truly a part of the ground.

It would take two days for Terraslip to arrive, Bian resolved not to waste the time at all. Sadly, that included calling everyone he knew. He figured if it was urgent, they would call him.

Bian Immediately began practicing with the Dongxuan sutra. His fitness was quite high and his proficiency with the Dongxuan sutra was unmatched. He just needed some quiet time to consolidate his powers.

Two days later and Bian felt a profound change, he had broken through to the second gene lock for the Dongxuan Sutra. The range of its sensing capabilities had been greatly enhanced and he could now mask the lifeforce of beings within the dongxuan aura.

Using the Dongxuan Aura, Bian found a powerful life force one kilometer away. A surpasser was eating at a shop. Bian recognized this surpasser as the one who fought against the gold-horned Shura, it seemed as though he was still recovering from that fight.

Then he sensed a drone approaching his home, he withdrew the aura and went outside to collect his package.

...

Storm was enjoying his meal when he felt a gaze observing him from outside the walls. His chopsticks froze as the ramen fell back into the plate.

"Is something the matter?" The shop owner asked, afraid that Storm was displeased with the food.

Storm merely shook his head and continued eating, he secretly traced the gaze to a neighborhood, but then it vanished.

'Well it wasn't a hostile.' He shrugged his shoulders, eating his noodles in peace and memorizing the neighborhood he had traced the gaze to.

...

Bian happily brought back the geno art and a canister filled with brown glowing fluid back to his house. He drank the geno fluid and began practicing the hyper geno art.

He flexed certain muscles in his body to mimic a fish swimming in a still lake, moving without causing a ripple. Another benefit of this geno art was that he could practice with it right here.

Bian raised both arms, like a swimmer about to dive into a pool, and jumped towards the ground. The next second, the ground made way for him like viscous fluid. He couldn't see underground and had to use the dongxuan aura to observe his surroundings.

'It's more difficult than I imagined' Bian was performing the geno art quite well, swimming through the earth as the hole he made closed up after he left. Eventually he swam back to the main room in his house, exiting the ground with a jump.

His clothes were dirt free and the floor looked just fine. Only upon closer inspection, would you notice that it was a bit uneven. Bian was unsatisfied with his performance, he went to the backyard and practiced with Terraslip for three more days greatly increasing his proficiency in the art of moving underground.

As Bian was swimming through the floor, he felt a change in his person.

'A gene lock!' He hurriedly moved back to the surface, forcefully digging his way out of the ground at the last moment and sitting down to meditate.

"It's the fourth gene lock of the three inner cylinders." Bian didn't know whether to laugh or cry. His proficiency with this sutra surpassed that of even the creator. He suspected it was because his soul was not from this reality.

With the fourth gene lock open, Bian didn't feel any immediate change on the outside. He tried looking inwards for the inner cylinders but just found darkness as if he had only closed his eyes.

"They're gone!" Bian felt terrible. This meant if he died, he would truly be dead since the space where he found the inner cylinders was gone. Also, he couldn't access the space during evolution like he had done when becoming a surpasser.

After he calmed down though, he noticed that the cylinders were not completely gone. Instead they were closer than ever, he just couldn't see them, meaning he couldn't touch them.

He felt like the fridge in the kitchen had been moved to the living room, where he was, and the kitchen had been demolished. Sadly, the fridge was placed behind him and for some reason, he couldn't turn around.

"I can only hope this is for the best." Bian looked towards the teleporter. He had been here for a week, actually waiting for either Man Tian or Han Yan to return, but there was nothing yet. He decided to have faith that his friends were alright and teleported back to the sanctuaries.

After a white light flashed in his eyes, Bian found himself standing in the spirit shelter. He walked out, searching for Yi Dongmu, hoping to tell him not to do anything stupid. Bian found an alley where there wasn't any spirit or creature and sunk into the earth.

"Damn, why is it so easy?" Bian quickly navigated through the shelter using his improved dongxuan aura. He found the primitive geno tree, but there was no sign of Yi Dongmu. He turned around and swam towards the market, leaving the ground before he reached there.

"Subterranea must be made of very hard materials. That would explain why the surpassers fight inflicted minimum damage on it and why its so hard to Terraslip through." Bian reasoned as he searched the market.

Beasts of different kinds, were trading with one another. Bian came across Okka the merchant who had set up his stall in a different place today.

"Back for more" His eyes glistened when he saw Bian, he hurriedly show him his products hoping Bian wouldn't be stingy with his pockets today.

Sadly, Okka had little mutant geno seeds and no sacred-blood geno seeds. He had an assortment of ordinary and primitive ones, but those couldn't interest Bian. Bian already had mutant class weapons and armor and sought something of a higher class.

"I am not supposed to show this to anyone, but since I am leaving soon I can trade with this sacred-blood geno seed. I have been looking for a buyer since but to no avail."

Bian wasn't interested in his shrewd mannerisms and asked for the details about the multicolored geno seed.

"This is an elemental geno seed, it can give items that grant elemental buffs." Okka proudly said.

"Then why can't you find a buyer?" Bian asked. If the geno seed was truly as he said, it would be a great boon regardless of your element.

"Well, it takes takes two thousand years to mature and the fruits it bears may or may not be of sacred-blood class."

As soon as Okka said this, it caused Bian's brows to furrow. He was planning on buying the seed as he needed a way to overcome his lack of elemental diversity but it had to be sacred-blood at least.

Okka explained that the seed required blood of any elemental creature, blood of different elements would result in different fruits. Sadly, the rank of the item it gives depends on luck. One could spend two thousand years cultivating the seed and only end up with several ordinary geno fruits.

Bian asked for more details and understood how the items it would give would work. It would only augment Bian's attack, it wouldn't grant him the powers to shoot fireballs or hurl lightning.

This seed could said to have been made for Bian. After two thousand days of watering it with life force droplets from the black crystal, he would gain an addition of elemental attacks in his repertoire.

As for the rank of the fruits, it would surely be sacred-blood. Luck was not an issue while Bian had the Emperical Will. Bian had to pretend as though he was in a dilemma, he didn't have much he could use to exchange for the seed.

After some bargaining, Bian exchanged the mutant stone greatsword and the two ordinary Bone Tamus for the sacred-blood Elemental Seed. He was happy with the transaction, and looked forward to his trip to clover kingdom. Hopefully, he could find some super geno trees and wouldn't have to start harvesting his own.

Bian currently had no way of fighting super creatures, the gulf between him and them even after he maxed out his super geno points would be quite wide. His only hope was to target younglings or depend on beast soul pets from super geno trees. He also needed super creature flesh to feed the Strength Overlord which refused to eat anything below sacred-blood rank.

"It's like this everywhere, you need money to make money" Bian said with a sigh.

Suddenly, there was commotion in the shelter. Bian saw many spirits and Beasts rushing to the spirit hall while muttering.

"Someone attacked the Spirit Hall."

"I heard it was a human."

Bian felt his heart sink to his chest, he fell through the ground navigating through the shelter with the aid of dongxuan aura while rapidly approaching the Spirit Hall using Terraslip.

'What happened? who could have done this?' Bian was thinking but he had an idea of who attacked the Spirit Hall. Except, it was too early for Yi Dongmu to attack, the geno tree would not yet mature for at least five more months.

'Is this because of me. Because I convinced her to allow humans to go back to the sanctuaries.' Bian reached the Spirit Hall, the ground here was harder to swim through, but it was easier than planet Subterranea.

He couldn't believe what he saw through his senses, he had to confirm it with his eyes. Emerging from the floor, Bian looked with eyes as wide as saucers. Yi Dongmu was holding Hope spirit's stone, while she was crying. She looked as though she was about to self destruct.
