Sacred-blood aristocrat

Bian dumped the remains of the mutant barracuda into the ocean. Scores of ordinary fish came and gobbled it up, the few primitive fish were obstructed by the multitude of ordinary fish.

"Well that didn't work as planned" Bian poured the remains of the crab into the ocean, multiple fishes gathered again. Bian and the manticore only hunted the primitive fish among the mix.

Bian counted more than twenty fishes after the fiasco. Unfortunately many of the fishes were of the same species.

[Flesh of primitive creature two-tailed salmon eaten. One primitive geno point gained.]

...

Bian had multiple hearty meal after several days, he had gained 52 primitive geno points. The average primitive fish was as tall as a fully grown adult. He looked at the uncooked fishes and poured them into the ocean.

Bian was taking a break from all the fish, he returned to the alliance. After buying some ice cream, he went back to his room to relax for a bit.

Xue Wen was reading something when he came in.

"Ah, Bian good day!" Xue Wen stuttered a bit and stood up to greet Bian formally. His cold and icy attitude was no where to be seen.

"Why the formal tone? Come on were roommates, basically brothers." Bian handed Xue Wen an ice cream.

"Yes we are brothers, if you need anything don't hesitate to let me know." Xue Wen showed his gratitude to Bian. The Xue family unearthed what could have happened had they continued their wrong practice of the frost sutra.

"Yeah, same to you" Bian said with a smile before focusing on his ice cream.

"By the way, are you aware that Han Yan is currently cooperating with the Ning family." Xue Wen said after a moment of hesitation.

"What!" Bian swallowed the ice cream with such force that he nearly choked.

"I was just reading about it now" Xue Wen showed him the post.

Warrior goddess brings a spark of hope to a frozen world

Han Yan spawned in an ice cave near a royal shelter. She established a hunting team and quickly became known for her unparalleled strength.

Everyone who spawned there and had given up returned. A Ning family member there proposed an alliance to take down the shelter. The post was alerting those who spawned there that a chance had arrived.

'Like brother like sister' Bian thought to himself.

"Thanks for the update" Bian thanked Xue Wen. Bian didn't go back to the sanctuaries, he waited for Han Yan to return.

A few days later Bian was practicing jadeskin when Han Yan called.

"It's time, let's go to the Certification Bureau" Han Yan called to remind him.

"Yeah" Bian composed his thoughts on what to say to Han Yan.

The certification bureau was as bustling as ever, filled with aspiring evolvers hoping to determine their paths. Bian and Han Yan had separated into different lines, knowing that a sacred-blood aristocrat like Bian would not be dispatched to the front lines by the military. Evolution before mandatory service was the more favorable option.

Bian sighed, lamenting, "I didn't even get to practice with warframes properly. All my free time has been spent in the sanctuaries or reading."

Han Yan offered a comforting smile, saying, "Don't worry about it. The Saints Hall will definitely have a say in your deployment."

However, their conversation was interrupted by a critical voice, a 30-year-old woman directed at Bian, "Oh! Do tell, young man, why would the Saints Hall assist you?"

Bian, trying to keep it concise, replied, "Well, I'm very smart."

Another person, perhaps more curious, inquired, "Really? What do you do in your free time?"

Before Bian could answer, he was rudely cut off by a 30-year-old man, who erupted in fury, saying, "I can't believe you're still acting like this at your age! When I was in my 20s, I had my life together and didn't waste my time on nonsense."

Bian was left momentarily speechless, unsure of how to respond. The man continued, a smug tone in his voice, "Are you looking down on me, kid? I might be older than you, but I've maxed out on mutant geno points."

Bian remained silent, not wanting to engage further with the rude man. Instead, he pondered his own situation, thinking, 'Zhu Ting should also be in that location or should arrive there soon. Jade sun force and the nest he finds, if only I could appear there.'

When he finally reached the front of the line, he was surprised to see the same rude man there, loudly proclaiming, "I am here to be certified as a mutant evolver," while casting a challenging glance at Bian. "You better follow your senior's example," he added, continuing to spout nonsense.

Bian observed the man's true intentions as he kept glancing at a girl in line. 'Is that why he created this commotion?' With that in mind, Bian handed in his identification card and spoke politely yet clearly, "I'm here to be certified as a sacred-blood evolver."

Even the tired staff member was taken aback by Bian's declaration, and the rude man stared at him in astonishment. Han Yan couldn't help but snicker from behind the rude man, knowing that she was the cause of this unexpected turn of events.

On the spaceship.

"Why did you do that?" Bian knew Han Yan had caused that scene by mentioning the saints hall.

"Well you didn't answer when I asked why we can't get certified in the academy." Han Yan replied a naughty smile.

"I wanted to reduce the chance of professor Bai finding out I've already evolved and the personal in alliance central military academy might see through our unnaturally high fitness." Bian waited for their return before he properly spoke to Han Yan.

"You need to be wary of the Nings" Bian said seriously.

"I know what I'm doing" Han Yan responded with a seriously cold smile, even Bian was temporarily taken aback.

"Also is there a person named Zhu Ting there?" Bian inquired.

"Yeah, he kept pestering me so I let him be my left hand man. Keeping an eye on things when I'm gone, of course my right hand woman is actually Yang Manli, she entered the sanctuary a few weeks after I did."

"Okay, we need some items from that Zhu Ting fellow. A mantra for energy called jade-sun force and a movement technique. The movement technique should preferably be seven twists but if he resists, treading cloud would also be okay."

Bian had done so much for Han Yan, she naturally wouldn't decline his request.

"Treat him nicely, but don't place too much trust in him. He specializes in poison meaning he can't do anything against you." Jadeskin was the panacea to all types of poison.

"Okay, I even got a sacred-blood beast soul recently. Although it's a glyph type and I don't know the use it'll come in handy as a trading chip." Han Yan said.

Bian nearly coughed up blood, he had also been in second god sanctuary for a while, but didn't even get an ordinary beast soul speak less of a sacred-blood one.

He still hadn't found the use of his super body, he activated it on a whim. An ancient and almost silent melody permeated the environment. It sounded like a chorus of angel were singing.

"What's that sound?" Han Yan asked, even checking her commlink.

"Just a useless power of mine, the super body I got." Bian said before also checking his commlink.

13 trillion dollars.

'Looks like the echo geckos are doing well.' Bian was lost in thought when Han Yan snapped him out of it.

"Nothing is useless, finding it's use might just take some time and effort. My super body, karmic body allows me to manipulate karma on a small scale. It might not seem useful at first but I'm sure it'll come in handy later." Han Yan knew that Bian just hadn't found a proper use for his super body.

'Karmic body huh, when you get the falsified sky sutra looks like your enemies won't even get a chance to cry.' Bian thought to himself.

"What's the name of your super body?" Han Yan asked in curiosity.

"Emperical will" Bian said while fiddling with his commlink.

"Have you tried commanding beasts or something"

"Not yet" Bian stood up as his face brightened up.

"There's a lottery near the warframe society, the owner of the lottery has a parrot, come on let's go." Han Yan urged him.

They quickly rushed to the lottery ballot. There a blond female student who owned a parrot was playing hand of god, when Han Yan and Bian suddenly interrupted her.

"Argh! I lost. What do you want." She looked at them in annoyance.

"Umm, sorry about that. We want to speak to your parrot." Han Yan said.

"And that's why you bothered me? No, if you want to speak to Larry, at least buy a lottery ticket.

Han Yan bought one, and looked back at her.

"Both of you" she said with a narrowed eye. Bian also bought a lottery ticket. It was a digital ticket.

He stepped forward and spoke to the parrot.

"Fly here!" The empirical will was already active, most people wouldn't hear it unless everywhere was silent.

The parrot stood on the stick and mimicked Bian.

"Come here, come here"

The girl laughed, she brought up her commlink and closed the lottery system.

"It's time for our lucky winner. The winner is 190286" she looked at her ticket number and released a sigh.

"Damn, luck is such a bitch. I'm gonna lose the bet at this rate." She mumbled to herself

"Hmm I won"

"Yeah I said-" the girl paused and looked at Bian. He was the last person to buy a ticket, yet he said he won the lottery.

She came to his commlink and Bian showed her the number. With her mouth agape she looked Bian up and down.

"We run these lottery all week long. You sure are lucky." She said and walked away, pondering if she would have won had she not sold Bian a ticket.
