"Finally" Bian let out a breath of relief, the original weapon of the black fanged snake was a poisoned dagger.

He summoned the super dagger. An all black one foot long dagger appeared in his hands, it seemed to suck light away just like a black hole.

Bian looked keenly at the dagger, the edge didn't look poisonous. Instead it would seem as though the dagger had a new substance coating it.

Bian looked at the black crystal, 'no not yet' he thought to himself. He would at least need a super armor.

Bian planned to go to the creek to capture another black beetle. As he made his way out, he saw a goon of Son of Heaven a little bit at a distance from the waterfall, he went to approach him.

"We're you following me?" Bian didn't get angry at Luo Tianyang, who would get angry at a dead man.

Luo Tianyang scoffed "I am the right hand man of Son of Heaven, when he leaves first god sanctuary I'll be the one to take over the gang. If you're hiding anything out here, just tell me now and you can be my right hand man."

"There's only one thing I'm hiding, you're dead body" Bian didn't like killing humans but this guy had come too close to something he shouldn't have.

"You, a one armed freak dared to threaten me" he summoned armor and a longsword, they were both sacred-blood. It would seem as though Son of Heaven really gained a lot through the times.

Bian used sparticle to speed up to him, he made a slice at Luo Tianyang's chest before stepping back. The dagger sliced through his sacred-blood armor like a hot knife through butter a thin red line appeared on his chest as he bled profusely.

Bian stepped back and observed, he kept dodging Luo Tianyang as he noticed there seemed to be no poison in his system, he was just bleeding. "If the poison got removed, what replaced it?" Bian dodged again and heard a splash, there was blood all over the floor.

He looked at Luo Tianyang who had stopped moving and had turn deathly pale. "You bastard, what did you do to me." Luo Tianyang looked at the injury in his chest and tried to supress it in a panic, blood kept flowing out no matter what he did, he eventually fell to the ground.

Bian looked coldly into his eye as the light faded out. "So the blade stops injuries from healing", he looked at the dead body of Luo Tianyang before dragging him to a pond filled with iron tooth crocodiles and tossing him in.

"Hmm I don't feel guilty or bad" Bian was a bit indifferent to his first human kill, with the audacity of Luo Tianyang, nothing could have saved him from Bian's wrath. He was so close to the waterfall which had the supergene and dongxuan sutra.

"That was too close for comfort, it's time to leave" Bian went back to the underwater cave, although sooner than expected, he swallowed the black crystal and it resurfaced in his sea of soul. He fed it to the newly acquired black fang snake and a cocoon of light formed around the snake

He took the dongxuan sutra with him and unsummoned the manticore. He looked at the place once more, the glowing blue waters illuminated the cave, there was a large cube of osmium and other Z-steel materials including the bars, clench, knife, sai dagger and cage, He took the two life essences with him.

With a sigh Bian left the underwater cave never to return again, he said a silent thank you before making his way back to steel armor shelter. There he buried the life essences under some soil and put a bolder over it. He went out of the sanctuaries and called Han Yan for a meet up.

On his way he met Jing Jia "Bian long time no see" Jing Jia said hello.

"Hey, what's with the bow" Bian asked him a little interested.

"Nothing much, just wanna show my team mates some new tricks, the archery competition shouldn't need me to win that way." Jing Jia said.

"That's great we'll I've got somewhere to be" Bian said hurriedly.

"Ok, I would love to compete against you one day. Call me when your arm is fixed." Jing Jia and Bian exchanged contact information before departing.

Bian went to a secluded area in the campus and met Han Yan waiting for him. 

"Am I late" he asked with a grin.

"No I just got here" Han Yan responded.

"Okay, well there's this qigong I've found in the sanctuaries. If what is written on it is true then a person can even break the vacuum once they practice it to a higher level" Bian got straight into business and told her about the dongxuan sutra.

"Bian I'm okay with the jadeskin" Han Yan thought it was sweet of Bian to offer her that, but would feel guilty if she accepted the sutra just like that.

"And who asked for your opinion on the matter" Bian had already decided to give her the sutra, no one not even Han Yan could stop herself from taking it.

He handed her the qigong, Han Yan opened it and glanced at the qigong.

Han Yan "..."

Bian "What's the matter"

Han Yan "I can't read this"

With a sigh Bian sat down beside her and unraveled the mysteries of the ancient language. They would meet up everyday and Bian would teach her more about the ancient language every time. Sitting beside her everyday was a joy in his heart.

"Are you a genius or am I that good a teacher" After a month Han Yan had a decent level of understanding about the ancient language. Bian only got happier once he heard the sound of the cocoon break, the black fanged snake looked more ominous and its eyes literally glowed purple.

Bian then fed the black crystal to the manticore, a cocoon of light soon surrounded it. "Hmm the manticore, minotaur and angel are all pets yet only the the manticore was interested in the black crystal. So I need to evolve the others before feeding them the black crystal" Bian wanted to feed the minotaur or Holy angel but they didn't want it.

Bian called his dad to speak with him about the music company he owned, although the pay wasn't in the hundreds of millions it was in the tens.

"Why won't you listen dad, I only need twenty percent you can have sixty percent." Bian tried to persuade his father on how the eighty percent profit from echo geckos should be shared between him and his family.

"No means no, just leave us with ten percent." Manwei Tian said with a sigh 'did I raise such a stubborn boy, no I was busy. Oh what did my wife do?'

"Okay let's settle for this I'll keep a whooping fifty percent while you guys will manage a meagre thirty percent" Bian tried persuading his Father.

'This is the lowest he has gone, its now or never' Manwei Tian said with a smile "yes life is hard, keep fifty percent for yourself. We your family are also working, thank you for the money you left behind. We will put it to good use"

And so the contract was modified with all staff and management getting twenty percent, the manwei family would get thirty percent while Bian would get fifty percent.

The twenty percent gotten by the management was a sort of tip for their hard work. They would still get paid from Bian, it was part of their agreement.

"By the way Bian, aren't you gonna participate in the upcoming competitions?" Manwei Tian asked thinking more highly of his son.

"Nah I will be too busy, in fact I might be out of touch for a while. Don't worry about me" Bian had other plans.

A demigod by the name of Zuo Tianchen dropped by, he and Bian met in the hospital room.

"You got a bright future ahead if you can make the saints hall call a demigod for your treatment." Zuo Tianchen summoned a floating tape of bandage. It circled Bian's arm and released a soothing golden glow.

"All done" he took back the geno core and stood up. And just like that Bian could move his right arm again perfectly.

"Thank you demigod Zuo" Bian stood up and said with a bow, he wasn't the nosy type to start asking questions. Zuo Tianchen left the alliance central military academy and Bian had now regained his arm, he formed a fist and unfurled it. His right arm was back.

Han Yan could now begin the practice for dongxuan sutra after weeks of preparation. Bian also told her he would be out of reach for a while.

"Just don't do anything too over the top" Han Yan reminded him.

"Don't worry ,I love you" Bian said preventing any possible death flags.

With all he could think off in check he made his way towards the teleporter.
