Chapter 110 A Sliver Bullet

　　Beth's POV

　　It was early in the morning. The sun drove away the white fog, and everyone gathered at the palace as promised to wait for the old King to wake up.

　　Arc and I stood under the steps. Time passed by, and the old King's eyes were still closed. He remained unconscious till the sun climbed up over our heads, and the chimes indicating noon rang out from the attic.

　　Something was off, and the Alpha King ran out of patience. He stood up and came to me. "My father did not wake up.

　　"You are lying. You can't cure him at all." He called the guards over. "Lock her up in the dungeon!" The guards slowly walked toward me and surrounded me.

　　I looked at the old King and figured that something must have happened during the process. I looked at Ally and pleaded with Alpha King again, "Please allow me to see the old King's condition for one last time."
