Chapter 103 Another Beth, Another Aaron

Aaron's POV

"Deploy more warriors and let them patrol the border. If there is any danger, let me know at once."

I was still worried about the safety of the pack house, and Peter helped me rearrange all the warriors. By evening, I had dealt with all the business, and then I walked home. I figured that perhaps I should go to the kitchen to fetch some sandwiches and milk before I went back.

I wondered if Beth had eaten anything. She had been so absorbed in studying that pocketbook recently that she often forgot to take care of herself. I stopped to turn to the kitchen, yet I saw Beth in the distance.

"Why are you here?" I could not control the smile at the corner of my mouth. Trying my best not to titter like some stupid teenage boy, I hurried to Beth.
