Chapter forty five

David 

Jesus Christ!

What am I walking into? 

I know Maria has some animosity towards me. But never on earth have I ever thought that she would get herself involved in a conversation about falling for me? 

I also know Olivia with her teasing skills and her talent of observation. Even though I haven't had time to chat with her since my arrival. That's all on me for sure. 

But, What did she tease her with now? 

Last I checked, Maria and I have never been in the same room as her. At least if that were the case I could say she noticed something between us, hence the teasing. 

But what's there to notice, aside from the arguments we've always been into? 

She couldn't have seen what had happened between Maria and I earlier. 

The door was locked, I remember. 

They both have their gazes at me. 

Maria's face has become an open book. 

She can't hide the fact that she's wondering whether I heard what she just said.
