Dylan nodded.

If it was any other people, Dylan would most likely ignore them. He didn't have the time to care about everyone in the entire world and so on. Even if various places were destroyed by those big mutated animals, he didn't actually care too much.

As long as these big mutated animals didn't disturb his and Anna's life.

This was the most important point for Dylan.

But Uncle Darien couldn't be like Dylan and had to care for the base and the people who were living here. So that when there was anything that seemed to threaten the base and the people's safety, he had to figure out a way to deal with it.

Most of the times, they could deal with the big mutated animals with the other awakened who were strong enough.

After all, the leaders were pretty strong to a certain degree.
