Russell successfully obtained the answers he wanted.

After using completely unqualified surgical techniques, he curiously conducted a series of scientifically oriented academic research on the Bakuto trio. Through this process, the Bakuto trio revealed everything he wanted to know.

Originally, he planned to subject the Bakuto trio to the so-called prisoner's dilemma in order to obtain the answers he desired. However, after arriving at the safehouse, he changed his mind.

Since the Venom symbiote was present, whatever he did to the Bakuto trio, they couldn't die.

With that in mind, there was no need to use the prisoner's dilemma strategy.

Though the Bakuto trio were ancient monsters who had lived for centuries, possessing lifespans and physiques far surpassing those of ordinary humans, they still experienced pain when they were hurt.

Moreover, compared to physical pain, they found psychological harm much harder to endure.

With a surgical knife in hand, Russell appeared in their eyes as a deranged serial killer.

No!

Not a deranged serial killer!

Just deranged!

Encountering a deranged serial killer might result in death at most.

If they toughened up, gritted their teeth, and closed their eyes, it would all be over.

But Russell was different.

With the help of the Venom symbiote, he made the Bakuto trio dance between life and death repeatedly, prolonging their agony.

Death wasn't the most terrifying thing.

Wanting to die but being unable to was.

And not to mention, in this process of wanting to die but being unable to, they also experienced various inhumane and extreme forms of suffering.

After obtaining the information he wanted from the Bakuto trio, Russell first went to the bathroom at the safehouse, washing the blood off his hands and face and changing out of his blood-soaked clothes.

Afterward, he led the physically unharmed but mentally shattered Bakuto trio out of the safehouse.

He went to their residence and found the hidden Dragon Bone.

Once he confirmed that the number of Dragon Bones matched what they had said, he ended the Bakuto trio's lives and called in the clean-up crew to dispose of their bodies.

Fisk Tower.

Top-floor office.

"This is the Dragon Bone you wanted. I've already taken the other half."

Russell placed a black briefcase in front of Kingpin and said slowly.

Kingpin took the briefcase, opened it, and glanced inside.

There weren't too many Dragon Bones inside the briefcase, just about half of it.

Although the quantity was less than he had imagined, Kingpin didn't say anything. He closed the briefcase, picked up the phone on the desk, and made a call.

Ten seconds later, he hung up the phone and said to Russell, "The reward has been transferred to your hotel account."

"Good!"

Russell took out his phone and logged into his account, looking at the balance inside.

One hundred and fifty million dollars!

The reward for this operation was one hundred million dollars, and the extra fifty million dollars was Kingpin's gratitude for killing Daredevil.

The remaining balance was for his operational funds at the hotel.

After confirming that Kingpin had transferred the reward, Russell didn't immediately leave Kingpin's office. Instead, he went to the liquor cabinet.

"Mind if I have a few drinks?" Russell turned to Kingpin and asked.

"I don't mind!"

Watching Russell take out a bottle of whiskey and a glass from the liquor cabinet, a hint of confusion appeared on Kingpin's face.

According to common sense, the task had been completed, and the transaction between him and Russell was already over.

But Russell, at the moment, seemed to have no intention of leaving.

Ignoring the confusion on Kingpin's face, Russell sat down on the office sofa, poured himself a glass, and started drinking.

He was waiting for someone, waiting for Mr. Negative!

If Kingpin hadn't asked Mr. Negative Martin Li to join the operation, Russell wouldn't have bothered with him for the time being.

While he had the idea of evolving Venom into a serum, he wasn't in a rush.

However, since he encountered Mr. Negative tonight, he didn't mind dealing with this matter in advance.

As he waited for Mr. Negative to arrive, he reviewed the various pieces of information he had obtained from the Bakuto trio earlier tonight.

Firstly, he roughly understood where K'un-Lun was located in this world.

According to the Bakuto trio, the entrance to K'un-Lun was near K'un-Lun Mountain. However, K'un-Lun wasn't on Earth; it existed within a pocket dimension on K'un-Lun Mountain.

This information was in line with what he remembered about K'un-Lun.

While the Bakuto trio had lived and studied in K'un-Lun for many years, they weren't aware of K'un-Lun's origins.

However, that wasn't an issue; Russell knew the origins of K'un-Lun's.

Similar to how Asgardians were extraterrestrial beings, the K'un-Lun people were also extraterrestrial.

A long time ago, a group of humanoid extraterrestrial beings, the K'un-Lun people, landed on Earth in a spacecraft. During their descent, the spacecraft tore through space, creating a pocket dimension.

The K'un-Lun people considered this pocket dimension their hiding place and established seven "Cities of Heaven" within it. Each city was dedicated to a guardian deity and served as a source of energy.

K'un-Lun was one of these Cities of Heaven, and it held a special status as the leader among them.

The guardian of K'un-Lun was the ancient dragon Shou Lao. Defeat Shou Lao, and you could gain the power of the Iron Fist, becoming K'un-Lun's "Immortal Weapon" known as the Iron Fist.

The man Danny Rand, who was turned into a sieve by Russell's Gatling gun, was the 66th Iron Fist.

Returning to K'un-Lun, since Shou Lao was K'un-Lun's guardian, K'un-Lun was also known as the City of the Dragon.

Aside from K'un-Lun, there were six other Cities of Heaven: Peng Lai, K'un-Zi, Tiger Island, Kingdom of Spider, Z'Gambo, and Under City.

Each City of Heaven had its own Immortal Weapon, a warrior recognized by the guardian deity.

For instance, the Immortal Weapon of K'un-Lun was the Iron Fist.

The other six Immortal Weapons were the Cobra of Peng Lai, the Crane Champion of K'un-Zi, the Tiger's Beautiful Daughter of Tiger Island, the Bride of Nine-Spider of the Kingdom of Spider, the Prince of Orphan of  Z'Gambo, and the Dog Brother of Under City.

Outside these seven Cities of Heaven, there was a legendary eighth city called "Eighth City of Hell."

The Eighth City of Hell was created by the K'un-Lun people in a dimension of Hell. It was a city specifically used to exile evil. Only by gathering the qi of the seven Immortal Weapons could one open a passage to the Eighth City of Hell.

Although the Bakuto and his companions had lived in K'un-Lun for many years, they had never been to the other six Cities of Heaven and had never seen the other six Immortal Weapons.

As for the Iron Fist Danny Rand, they had seen him, but they were too lazy to bother with a still very weak Iron Fist.
