A gap

"The task you assigned me has been completed, and everything is ready to begin our next step."

Her cheeks were still a bit red from the kiss, but that did not stop her from saying what her master had to know.

Jack nodded at her words and snapped his fingers. Before Olivia knew what was happening, she was freshened up and lying on a beach.

She recognized the beach because it was from the island she and her master regularly visited to train when they were younger.

She looked around and found her master and Amaterasu standing a bit further away, staring at one of the mountains on the island.

Energy swirled around Jack's body as he ran towards that mountain.

Olivia came out of her stupor and activated her shadow powers to blend in with her master's shadow so that he could take her with him.

Moments later, Jack arrived at the top of the mountain they had been looking at just a moment before. Amaterasu also appeared beside him, and Olivia was peeking out of her master's shadow to assess the situation.

Jack, who was the focus of their attention, had him in another place. He looked around as if searching for something, but he couldn't find his goal even after scanning what he thought was his target.

Amaterasu tapped her space ring, and a scroll appeared in her hand.

"Here, master. With this thing, you should be able to sense the place you want to go to.

The redness on her cheek has long disappeared, replaced by the cool and elegant charm she usually possesses.

Jack looked at the scroll in her hands for a moment and analyzed it. He smiled when he saw that it was the item he was looking for and reached out to grab it.

The scroll was light, just as you would imagine, but Jack let some of his energy flow into it.

The moment the scroll received the energy, it began to glow. The glow wasn't that bright, and soon after, a little wisp of energy remained.

The wisp waited for a few seconds before beginning its journey in the sky. It was as if it had been programmed before and was now following orders.

After flying for what felt like just a moment, it stopped at something in a random place far away in space.

Jack couldn't detect something like this from so far away normally, but because he put his energy into the scroll, the wisp guided him to the gap in the barrier that he had been seeking.

Unfortunately, it isn't the gap between his planet and the invading one but the barrier that was placed to protect lower-level planets from higher-level influence.

He is looking for it because he practically already conquered the planet he is on.

With the goblins' attack, human society collapsed, and only his group was left standing unscratched.

His cult is even being expanded at this moment, so he thought that he should go to a higher-level world and have more people worship him to strengthen him.

Jack looked behind him but not at the woman right next to him. His gaze went further and went to his—other harem members.

First, his gaze went toward Isabella, Valentine, and Elena. If you didn't include their pets, they were the most 'normal' in his harem.

They were still cleaning up the mess the goblins had made during their invasion, and the pets were cleaning up any remaining goblins alive on the continent they were currently on.

The wolf is chewing on the remains of one of the goblin bosses he hunted. The crow is flying high above it as if on the lookout.

And their biggest brother, the dragon, was currently playing catch with one of the other bosses. Only the boss would have a better fate if he didn't catch the fireballs thrown at him.

The women also fought, but they weren't built for it, so they let their pets do the hard work while they recruited another woman who had the potential to join the cult.

Seeing that they were doing fine, his gaze left them and went to another place.

The next place was, of course, his mom's location. Elise was currently preparing everything to execute the plan she had been making ever since Jack said that an invasion was coming.

Behind her stood a cute girl. The girl also helped and sometimes gave advice. Louise was now Mom's new adviser. She was always smart and wanted to do it herself, so I let her.

His gaze then landed on Jasmine and Ela, but seeing that they were still with Amaterasu's saints, he didn't worry about them.

Seeing that his women were fine, he retracted his gaze and snapped his fingers again. This time, an exotic-looking woman appeared next to him.

Kali looked around and saw her master, who summoned her, standing before her.

"What can I do for you, my lord."

"I want you to stay here and continue training the cult and my woman. I will be going to a higher world with Amaterasu and Olivia."

Kali, who heard her master's words, was a bit sad that she couldn't go with them but quickly accepted it.

"Yes, I will keep them safe and train them to become stronger."

Jack looked satisfied with her answer and nodded with a smile. He then walked towards her, grabbed Kali's chin, and made her look into his eyes.

"if any one of my women is missing. The punishment you will receive is something that you will not like. Even if you yourself go missing. Am I understood?"

Jack's eyes were a bit empty when he said that, but to Kali, he looked more handsome than usual. She nodded meekly, and Jack smiled when he saw that.

He gave her a deep kiss before letting her go.

Jack closed his eyes for a moment, and energy began to leave his body.

Next to him, someone identical to him began to appear, only he looked and felt like a normal human.

"I will leave this clone here to keep you guys company and be informed about you guys." He answered when he felt their questioning gazes.

Kali nodded before teleporting back to Elise's house with the clone.

The clone will explain that he has left, and although it will make some of his women sad, he still has a part of him here.

With that taken care of, Jack looked up again, specifically at the gap in the barrier where he last felt the wisp of energy.

He looked behind him and looked at the two women who were going to accompany him.

"Ready?"

"Yes, master!"

"Yes, master!"

They said in unison. They looked at each other before nodding and looking at me again.

Seeing that they were ready, he began to fly towards the gap in the barrier.

Amaterasu followed him without difficulty, but she helped Olivia cross space because she couldn't do it on her own.

They flew in space for days until they arrived at the gap. Jack looked at Amaterasu, and the woman nodded.

Jack then entered the gap, and Amaterasu followed close behind him.
