"Apocalypse could lift all the nuclear bombs of every nation into the sky. Why can't we do the same? Treating these weapons like mere fireworks would showcase Mutant power as a force to be reckoned with," Alex pondered aloud, reflecting on the potential impact and symbolic gesture of such an act.
The resulting panic would be merely temporary. This approach not only upheld Mutant strength but also mirrored their desire for a stable existence, distinct from meddling in national politics. Figures like Eric and Charles, akin to nuclear forces in their own right, underscored Mutants' standing as global players.
After lengthy discussions among Alex, Charles, and Eric, they resolved to establish a kingdom for Mutants—a methodical approach to securing their place in the world.
With Alex's ability to manipulate atomic structures, he understood the limitations: he could alter atomic sequences but not create matter from nothing. Even the Pyramids of Apocalypse had been crafted from the destruction in Cairo.
Thus, before commencing with land creation, Alex journeyed to Antarctica, redirecting vast icebergs to serve as raw material. Utilizing his atomic control, he transformed these icebergs into solid landmasses, laying the foundational groundwork for their Mutant kingdom.
When an iceberg transformed into solid land, the visual impact was nothing short of terrifying, even startling the observers monitoring from satellites.
"The sheer scale of this defies all scientific norms," remarked one of the astonished analysts.
"But then again, with Mutants like him, who needs to adhere to scientific laws?" another mused aloud.
Alex was aware of the satellites observing from above, and he intended for them to witness his capabilities firsthand.
"It's unbelievable. Even though I see it, I can't quite believe this used to be an iceberg," Charles exclaimed, marveling at the transformation.
"Is this the power of a Level 5 Mutant? It's beyond astounding," Eric added, visibly shocked by the spectacle.
"This is just the beginning. Without a continental shelf here, the initial land area won't suffice," Alex explained calmly, crouching down and placing a hand on the ground.
With a resounding boom, the water around them churned violently, and the ground trembled as if adrift on the sea.
Eventually, rocky outcrops surged from the depths, enveloping the initial landmass and doubling its size.
Soon, an uninhabited island emerged from the sea, its expanse slightly larger than Hong Kong Island.
Alex extended his hand, and sand from the ocean floor surged upwards, coating the island's surface evenly.
Meanwhile, Alex raised his hand, showering the newly formed land with seeds to begin the process of vegetation.
Alex tapped into his enhanced Natural Affinity ability, causing grass seeds to sprout and cover the island in a lush carpet of emerald green. With a swift gesture, he pressed the grass down, enriching the soil and ensuring its fertility—a task swiftly completed.
"It's your turn," Alex directed at Eric, opening a portal.
From above, a cascade of steel materials rained down. With a wave of Eric's hand, the materials seemed to assemble themselves, constructing over a dozen towering buildings in just ten minutes.
Hovering in the sky, helicopters scattered various vegetation seeds across the island. Under Alex's influence, the entire landscape flourished into a vibrant greenery.
"Charles, it's up to you now," Alex turned to Charles.
Charles smiled, donned a brainwave amplifier, and used his telepathic abilities to broadcast his message worldwide.
"Listen, Mutants of the world. Today, we establish a nation solely for Mutants. All with super-abilities are welcome here. You'll find sanctuary from oppression and persecution. To our friends, all Mutant citizens will have our protection. Our home lies hundreds of kilometers off the Pacific Ocean, away from the United States. You're welcome to join us anytime."
As Charles spoke, his words were transmitted through global TV signals, broadcasting their actions to the world.
"Now, it's time for the salute," Alex grinned, his psychic power sweeping across.
He teleported nuclear bombs from every nation to his location. With precise control, Alex directed them into space where, synchronized and detonated, they created a dazzling display visible across the globe.
Soundless in the vacuum, the cosmic fireworks illuminated the skies, leaving the world's nations in awed silence.
Could human technology ever match such power?
