CHAPTER 140: DOUMA VILLAGE 2

Houses in Douma village weren't that sophisticated or the kind that Tapiwa usually see in her daily life. They were the kind that she didn't want to see anywhere near her place.

Some of the houses were made of grass, twigs and branches. While the rest were mud houses with thatched roofs.

Most of the houses were dome-shaped but with tiny doors. Very small that one would have to crouch to get inside.

At least if they made the doors bigger, she wouldn't be inwardly complaining right now.

The village chief's house was the mud one but slightly bigger compared to the other houses she had seen.

When they arrived, Tapiwa saw several young men wearing warrior attire which she guessed thanks to the machetes hanging around their waist.

'Just how special is the village chief to be guarded heavily like that?' Tapiwa was curious as she observed the young men she could beat with a flick of her finger.
