"What kind of book is that?" Diyu asked in surprise.
"It's just a random book I read," Shenlian Yingyue replied, "but my brother told me that it's the Book of Heaven, which records everyone's fates." She flew to the field of spider lilies, her eyes fixed on the red flowers beneath his frightening gaze.
"Yue'er, stop!" he cried out, but it was too late. Her hands were already touching the red spider lilies.
"What's wrong?" she asked, turning to look at him in shock. His scream had shocked her as well.
"You...do you feel something?" he asked hesitantly, pulling her away from the field of spider lilies and into the sky.
"I feel very good now," she replied, examining her own body. She seemed fine.
Diyu's eyes widened in horror as he gazed at the field of millions of spider lilies.
"Is there something wrong with those flowers?" she finally realized that something was amiss.
