Grass Jelly

Walking into the backyard, Liu Hua noticed that some areas of the vegetable garden were almost fully harvested. In a few days, they may need to clear the land and start preparing it to plant the next batch of vegetables. 

While she was still thinking about what plants were best for summer, she went to the backyard and saw Lu Jueyu cutting a hay-like branch with a kitchen knife. 

Liu Hua walked up to her and asked, "Jueyu, what are you doing?"

After hearing her question, Lu Jueyu looked at her and said with a smile, "Sister Liu Hua, you are here. I'm cutting these Chinese Mesona to make it easier to clean later."

Since her knowledge of medicinal herbs was limited, Liu Hua asked, "Are you going to use it as medicine?"

"No, I'm making grass jelly. These Chinese Mesona are the main ingredients. This dessert is delicious and can relieve the heat." Lu Jueyu explained.
