Perfection Wu Qin Xi: Leaving the forest

In the forest.

A figure was sitting alone, beside him, bones where pilled up, with only a small part of the snake meat left untouched.

The figure that was sitting on the ground suddenly stood up and disappeared in place when he appeared again, it was meters away. Looking at the ginseng plants in this place, he had some thoughts about them and picked up one.

When he chewed the roots, he could feel some effect, but it was very negligible. "Compared to before, this ginseng seems to have almost no effect. In order to accumulate enough energy once I leave the forest it would take a long time. Or the best way is to find another creature on the same level if not stronger than the water snake."

Shaking his head, he dismissed the thought, even though he could not refute the existence of such big creatures, he had to go to the sea, and that was not his current plan. Perhaps he could try it later, but for the moment that did not seem to meet his urgent needs.

Pushing this thought out of his mind, his figure retreated and seemed to have appeared in the place he was sitting below. He was fast, indeed, and even seemed sure that once he went all out, his speed would be astonishing.

He had even lost count of how long he had been practicing in this forest, but he was certain that the results he had obtained from it are worth it.

He started to practice after having this long eating break, he could perceive the situation in his tendons, flesh, bones and even the heart. This feeling was different from being able to see it, but he could feel it more clearly and in this way the utilization of his strength seemed to be even more precise compared to before.

With the continuous punching out he got immersed into it, and started to visualize the Five Animal Boxing movements. Compared to before, his speed was faster and faster until something seemed to change. His rhythm changed fast, in the moment even the  way the blood was flowing in his body seemed to be increasing fast, this did not seem to consume much of the energy in his body at all.

Every time he threw a punch it seemed to appear in his mind and the moment this synchronized, it happened more than once and the more he practiced the more it happened.

He seemed to be immersed even seemingly feeling the changes that where happening, he could perceive the changes that where happening to his body, and they seemed subtle, but noticeable.

In the moment he seemed to move faster and punch faster, his hands where only leaving behind after images, it was a completely new feeling. It was fast enough, compared with his physique, it could be said that the level of strength he could unleash at the moment was on another level.

When he finally stopped and looked at the panel, he could see that he had indeed improved and the Five Animal Boxing seemed to have stepped into the stage of perfection. Just like he had speculated in the past, it seemed that perfection was the stage that dealt with the spiritual state.

The visualization of the moves seemed to play a large part of it, and the moment he synchronized, it seemed to earn him proficiency.

That was already something he could see the way forward, and the focus would be practicing it on his own time. It seemed that the improvement on this aspect did not affect much about the transformation he had planed for and he had to use external means to accomplish this.

His next practice path seemed to be slowly leaning more towards the spirit than anything else. In the moment for instance, it was best to make sure that he finished the transformation before he went all out on focusing on the spiritual aspect.

He had already confirmed this and in the period that follows he will have to become more creative if he ever wants to take that step. The two techniques he has seem to have no path of assisting him any further along the path of transformation. This was already confirmed by the fact that his body did not seem to be changing the speed at which the energy he got from the snake meat was being devoured.

He just thought that the process that was ongoing seemed to take a long time, but things seemed to indicate, it would almost be impossible for him to speed up the final transformation at will.

He was feeling that impatient, things where not happening based on how he had planned. It seemed that he had to a lot to deal with especially with his mental state. He realized this, and took note of it, he was going to try some means to deal with it, but the only means he knew might perhaps not work.

Still he had to try, as such he looked towards the remaining snake meat, and seemed to be in deep thought. " Lets go back, this can be prepared at home."

With such thoughts he picked it up and moved towards the direction the ginseng was growing. He was going planning to use all of the resources he could get his hands on at the moment. He was already aware that his body would take time to undergo the final transformation, but he was going to need massive amounts of energy.

Since this was a situation out of his control, he had no interest in continuing to stay in the forest. Most of the use it provided him was already starting to become less, that is especially with the path that his martial arts seemed to have taken.

He was going to develop the spirit aspect, and the physique would probably only improve with the same frequency he improved his spirit while practicing the two exercises.

Since that was the case, he was not in rush, and would prefer to allocate just some time on the practice of the two and the rest of the time should be on collecting information, as well as improving his state of mind.

He had already discovered this flaw and did not want to overlook it in the early stages, he was afraid it would become a big problem later on.

He was thus more sure that the forest no longer had much use to him, and it was best to get back to the human world. His plans to tour the world where also pushed to the side, and he thought of collecting attribute points, as the benefits in it would be more for him in the long run.

In his current state, perhaps he needed to have some rest, there was no point in staying in the forest and trying means to speed up the transformation. He was well aware that it would just be a waste of time, but if he relaxed and his state of mind improved, his latter actions would be more likely to produce results unlike now.

Even though he failed to undergo the transformation instantly, he was happy too, because the gains he had in this period where immense. It had been less than a year since he got the attribute panel, but the changes that had happened to him can be said to be earth shattering.

The current him is indeed on another level compared to the past him. This is in almost all aspects, more importantly, when his line of sight fell on the attribute panel, even his face could not help but brighten up dispelling the gloom of his delayed transformation into the tenth stage.

In this period he managed to take the step into the next stage of the techniques and to his surprise, the number of proficiency points needed to improve seemed to become less. He did not think that this was a good thing, as it meant he could accomplish it faster.

He was smart enough to know that the less the numbers of proficiency needed, the stricter the requirements for gaining them.

This was something he had already confirmed as the two exercises simply stopped improving even when he managed to synchronize the visualization and training. It always seemed like something was missing and this already seemed to have informed him that his practice path was not easy at this stage.

The lifespan increase on the other hand was something that could  be said to be exciting for him.

With snake meat carried on his back and ginseng roots tied together, a figure could be seen walking out of the forest. Even though it was already in the evening, his figure could be seen walking on the main road alone, resembling a homeless person.

The only thing that was different was his smooth skin, and massive amount of meat he was carrying on the back. Had it been a busy road, he might have become some internet celebrity.
