The sun peaked through the window, and all I could do was flutter my eyes. Let the soft sun wake my body. Groan at the indignity and still at the weight by my side.

She curled her body against mine. Let out a keening cry, a soft snore that rose with her chest and fell the same.

Ah~ The slight heave of her chest, the gentle touch of a shoulder as it curled against mine, even that chin whose purpose seemed made to hook against mine neck.

Lily writhed against me, her brows furrowed as if to say she would rather be asleep than awake. And I couldn't blame her. For her soft scent played against my nose, a tiny breath that shivered against mine neck. And the hair that reflected golden rays of sun.

It was such... such a picturesque sight. I- I wanted to stay there forever. Wanted to pull her closer and never let go. Knowing- knowing that she is mine.
