Chapter 16: Thor Descends

"Fury, was Bruce Banner, the Hulk, also part of your initial plan?" Natasha Romanoff couldn't bear to watch the two old men argue anymore and quickly asked a question.

"I can meet with him, but don't expect any miracles," Tony Stark shook his head, "That's not my area of expertise. If Bruce Banner himself can't solve his problem, I don't have a solution either."

"Are we left with just hope that this answer will provide a reward for solving Dr. Banner's mental issues?" Nick Fury sighed. After transforming into the Hulk, Bruce Banner was probably the most powerful being he had ever seen, second only to Captain Marvel, whom he knew when he was younger. There was no one else who could match his combat strength. What a great warrior he was!

But unfortunately, this warrior was too "unbalanced." His physical strength was incredibly powerful, but his mental vulnerabilities were just as significant.

If someone successfully exploited this vulnerability and drove him insane, the consequences would be unimaginable.

"Fury, your assumption is crazy and may not be accurate, but we have to be cautious in this situation. The Hulk is indeed a significant weakness," Tony Stark said in a serious tone. "We better be prepared in advance, or else we might be manipulated by someone."

"Thor will descend to Earth in New Mexico!" Nick Fury immediately said, "I will send someone to New Mexico to 'welcome' the arrival of Thor, the new member of the Avengers!"

"This is the most important information we have obtained through answering the questions so far," Tony Stark said solemnly. "If you really encounter Thor, inform me immediately."

"Count me in," Natasha Romanoff added.

"Okay," Nick Fury agreed directly. "If I meet Thor, I will definitely inform everyone."

The reason why everyone attached so much importance to the arrival of Thor on Earth was that this information directly related to whether the video was a future segment.

If Thor really arrived in New Mexico as stated in the question, it would mean that the questions they answered were indeed about the future, and the threats posed by Loki and the Chitauri were real.

Apart from verifying the future, Thor's identity was also crucial.
